I know this is an older video, but I wanted to say how precious this lady is. Once she was young and took care of her family, no doubt had children, etc. Now, she is giving back. What an example for we younger ones. The Bible tells the older women to teach the younger women. I believe that is what she is doing, as well helping so many precious babies.

Ah bless her. My mother last knitted for me when she was 100 yrs old. She knitted me a ribbed cowl. Nowadays at nearly 103(!) and with advanced Ahzeimers, she can only knit a few rows.

Dearest Virginia, my beloved Grama knitted over 90 yrs, living to 97. She has her flower gardens, gifting to so many and scarves, hats, mittens, all of which many I still have (when I realized the importance of saving for her future generation) and her final piece I saved special along with the last ball of verigated yarn I wrapped into a ball. Wow, you are so inspirational! People who sit and worry about getting Alzheimer's when life is about doing. My father died of Alzheimer's so I am older now than he was when dementia began for him. I also am an avid knitter. Knitting is actually good for the brain's blood circulation as the blood is drawn from the brain stem and flows through the brain to its surface under the skull. This is what controls the hands. So whatever we are doing with our hands from typing to doing dishes to gardening or knitting, just don't stop doing. Life is about doing for others and having the giving spirit, is good for the souls who live to give. God bless you, lovely lady!
