The Sebo Dart Upright Vacuum is a sturdy and lightweight upright vacuum cleaner that is made in Germany Belt protection and suction motor protection are two of the many features that enhance your cleaning needs and extend the life of the vacuum. The low six-inch profile allows you to clean under beds and other furniture when you lower the handle flat. There is a handy warning light that indicates whether your brush height is set too high for optimal cleaning or when the brush roller should be replaced due to bristle wear. To prevent overheating and motor damage from inadequate airflow, there is also a Bag Full or Clog light. The number of electrical outlet changes needed during use is reduced by the 31 foot cord. The brush roller requires no tools to easily remove it for cleaning; and it ensures consistently effective brush agitation of the carpet. The Sebo Dart vacuum cleaner becomes a portable, hand-held vacuum simply by detaching the powerhead, and is ideal for cleaning stairs, furniture or car interiors. The Dart has a 12 inch wide power head with one-sided edge cleaning.

I've had a Dart for the past two years. It's a excellent machine. Don't think that because it's the base model that corners have been cut, because they haven't. When I visited my local dealer, I wasn't planning on buying it at the moment. However, he had it $100 off and Sebo was running a promo at the time where they threw in their extended warranty for free if you bought from an authorized dealer. Couldn't pass it up.

I just found a new SEBO Dart for under $400! I haven't even used it yet and I already love it. LOL This video was was the deciding factor in my purchase. I appreciate the help very much.👍

I have a Miele upright , a D4 ,& a Delta . I love my Sebo . I think Sebo is built better than anything. Great video .

I bought this a couple years ago and it's the best and most user friendly vacuum I've ever owned. It also came with the 10 year warranty since I bought it online directly from them.

Even though I am more of a canister person, if I had mostly all carpets in a house I would get this along with a decent canister for bare floors. I am so glad you did this video, I learned more thank you!

This vacuum really surprised me in that it doesnt have the rubber stip to seal on the bare floor yet it cleaned it so well. That's impressive! Looking at this for parents in the future and my only thought was that, when i saw it did not have that strip on the powerhead. You answered my question. Parents have the dyson stick vac for bare floors but never were too impressed with it. looks like i can recommend this to them with peace of mind

Sebo Dart/Felix is an easy recommendation for an upright vacuum for almost anyone in the market. They just do everything so well and will last for years. As always - thanks for the video!

The sebo dart is the commercial version in the UK hence the missing features that are more likely to brake in a commercial setting 😀

I have a dart and also the high speed floor polisher head to go with it. They are fantastic! Only one thing I find , it tends to start to smell of the dog and changing the filters sorts this out but expensive.

There is a charcoal filter you can order that should mitigate that.

nice comparison to the felix. Wrt brush roll, does green brush roller diminish regular carpet pickup by any major amount? I have ultra plus and while my E3 seems to do pretty well, it would be nice to make power brush easier to move around.

Think I might have to try this vacuum!? I am so tired of buying vacuums. My wife vacuums EVERY SINGLE DAY. As such we have tested/destroyed Dysons/Hoovers and most recently the 3rd Shark! All have been garbage in terms of longevity. Since she only wants a canister style I can’t try the Miele. Never even heard of them till your video, I’ll report back on longevity. Fingers crossed…

Thank you for the review! Do you know if sebo nozzles are interchangeable for all models? I've got a sebo dart, can I use any sebo parquet nozzle with it?

Yes the nozzles are interchangeable. But the sibo dart is hefty upright so it will need a nozzle that has wheels.

We have hardwood floors, but I prefer an upright over a canister. Do you prefer the Sebo Felix or the Riccar R25 series?

I think there's no comparison between German made and Chinese made products. The SEBO is far superior. You'll also have the SEBO in 10 years unlike the Chinese made RICCAR

Recently purchased the dart, please could you advise as to whether the hand-held turbo brush would be a necessity if I have carpeted stairs but no pets. Would I be fine with the regular upholstery tool in my case?

Please consider testing with old pet hair, as I am lazy and don't vacuum frequently, so the pet hair I vacuum is not fresh

I have been doing research on the sebos vs miele and upright vs canister. And I just can’t figure out which will be best for us. We have 3 cats, 4 dogs(one being a lab so lots of thick coarse hair) and 3 messy kids. What would you recommend I’d best for keeping up with our busy household and hold up. I have had sharks and have to replace every 3-4 years.

Question: Do you happen to know off hand if thise 3rd party 12 foot hose attachment kits that come with 12 foot hose... 2 wands... dusting , crevice, upholsterly, floor brush.... would fit these? I have one and it fits my current vacuum... but I have an adapter... I can't tell when you took the PN off it looks like it may be able to connect there... or to the hose itself.... IF not... would there be an adapter?

The genuine SEBO extension hose is extremely reasonably priced I would recommend that you just go with that so you're not compromising airflow.

It's quieter than most box store machines but is by no means canister or Central Vacuum quiet

Looking at the parts schematics, should be possible to retrofit the adjustable handle of the Felix to the Dart. I prefer the rigid power head of my Dart to the swivel of the Felix, but wouldn't mind having the telescoping handle. Anyone tried this? Parts look pretty reasonable from Sebo.
