At 1st I wondered why you needed to replace the tray. Mine is a 12 and it has a full tray in it. That was odd its just a metal tray made to fill in the spot in the inner fender on yours. Does make a damn fine place to put tools when you are working though away from the hood or any place they can get caught and cause damage.

Thanks for viewing my video. 1. The original tray dose not have the required accessories to hold down the battery I wanted to use. I think it's design for something else. 2. I'm been running my truck using the batteries in parallel for months now. Have had 0 problems with it, so I'm not going to be using an isolator. But in ur setup u might need one. Gm doesn't even use isolators on their tahoes that came with two batteries how is it not done? The only real reason to isolate would be if you plan on running heavy electrical loads while the vehicle is not running. If it's just for more reserve capacity for stereo or additional lighting then an isolator would be an unnecessary purchase and hassle to add to the system.
