We started this a couple of months ago and we're loving it! We used the First Grade Math with Confidence and it was fantastic, then tried another curriculum that was so much less thorough, so we came back to the Math with Confidence series. We always skip the enrichment day because my son wasn't really enjoying them and we didn't really need them. I love how it explains everything clearly and completely and has a ton of ways to visualize the concepts. And the games are always our favorite part!

Thank you for this! Using Math Mammoth with my 1st grader and we like it but would like to try something more fun for 2nd grade. We’ll definitely be using Math with Confidence. Thanks again, your videos are always so helpful.

Im trying to place my twin daughter in math with confidence as we have gaps and need to go over stuff and I’m hoping that this could help her!!! The games look awesome!!! I love that there isn’t too many problems!!!

Thank you for sharing this. We are in a similar position and this was extremely helpful! TGATB has been okay, love the colors, the fun but i always knew we wouldn't do it forever, when you explained what the 3rd grade was like i thought OH NO! we are starting 2nd grade and K this school year and if I've already been wanting to move on, now would be the perfect time. Ordered Math w/Confidence after this flip through because it felt right. and i'm not a curriculum hopper what so ever ahaha so I take the time to go through materials before purchasing and this helped so much so thank you again!!!

Thank you for all of your helpful videos! Considering switching from The good and the beautiful as well. We just finished TGTB level 1… do you feel going into level 2 math with confidence worked well or was is too easy? Wondering if I should go on to level 3 math with confidence after finishing level 1 the good and the beautiful.

Do you know when the Well Trained Mind has their big sale..? I thought you mentioned somewhere they will have one in the summer right? Do you know if this math curriculum will be on sale too..?

Do you think the base ten blocks are necessary or is it enough to just use the pictures of the different blocks? Sometimes I feel like manipulatives frustrate my child. She prefers to just do the problem.

We do tend to use them a lot, but if your child can do the problems without them then there's no harm in not using them.
