“I was driving a herd across the panhandle (looks at Mitch) ... Texas.” That look when a cowboy Curly says Texas! LoL

*herd I would like to presume that viewers know why Curly (actually the writers) made that clarification of saying "Texas," because Oklahoma also has a panhandle, so there's an inherent need to specify which panhandle.

@@TheWinstonSlip And did you know that you and everyone else was incorrectly taught to use the word "cowboy" by Hollywood and publishing houses (of books)? There were cowhands and drovers, meaning those that worked with cattle and those that drove them. In actuality, the character of Curly was a Drover, not a "Cowboy." The term "cowboy" was **exclusively** used to refer to rustlers and outlaws, never legitimate handlers of horses and cattle. The "Cowboys" were a large outlaw gang (500?) that robbed, raided and killed in the nineteenth century in Texas and the surrounding area. They were driven out by the Texas Rangers, and the survivors, perhaps 200, then went into the frontier, into southeast Arizona, into Cochise County, to continue their crimes. These outlaws were known far and wide, across the nation, as "Cowboys". For Hollywood and publishing houses to use that label on legitimate cowhands or drovers creates confusion, and causes most modern folk to not even know about "the Cowboys." It virtually covers their existence in history, effectively hiding it, to use that label on anyone else. It was a vile insult of extreme offense to use that term on anyone: it was not used, because it was a total accusation of rustling and outlawing. Now you know.

Only modern folk who've been deceived use that term on legitimate ranch-hands. Why does this matter? Because of who the Cowboys were, what they were up to, who they served, and what they did. Beware the application of terms to wrong references: it serves the system by confusion and ignorance > it deceives.

I lost my grandmother. She cut her life short. Can anyone relate to me? YES. There is only one person who can understand not only why I suffer but how I suffer because he suffered as well and only those who can relate to someone can be of help to that someone. Jesus can certainly relate to me. And if my grandmother understood this truth she wouldn't have cut her life short because she would've been able to look at Jesus and everything Jesus stood for and taught and she would've been able to see a friend instead of an angry distant God who sends people to hell. Indeed, the truth is that hell does exist. But there is another truth that people often overlook. This truth that people overlook is that Jesus loves us. How can both these truths exist simultaneously? Maybe that is the "one thing" that this cowboy was talking about. He gave up the opportunity to be with that woman he saw working in the field years ago because, in my opinion, he was scared of rejection. Could it be that most people choose not to believe that God loves them because of their fear that God will not give them happiness?
@edwardgaines65616 жыл бұрын
Joshua Brandao While I understand your loss, pie-in-the-sky religion has nothing to do with it. What ol' cowpoke is trying to convey, is ambition and single-mindedness. Most people ALREADY know what makes them happy, but it's usually buried "under a lotta shit." Do you have a big enough shovel to dig UP your happiness? That what YOU gotta figure out...

She is takin a trip to Japan next year in March and wants me to join her so we will meet in Bangkok and be on the same flight to Japan and spend 10 days there and some days in Bangkok after our visit. She is my world and my priority. She is the most beautiful pure angel in the world and we are very much alike inside. No he isn't. MGTOW is about despising women. Curly thought he saw a woman who could have been the love of his life, but he chose to ride away; not because he was worried about becoming "whipped," but because he felt nothing else could ever top that first moment. Maybe he was wrong; we'll never know.
