Graeme's secret rapta oil recipe drives the fish crazy as he goes carp fishing a small pond in the UK. He sets off after doing his joblist to cram in a few hours fishing at Watmore Fishery but takes along his own secret mix of his Rapta fish oil, boiled up from a secret recipe that only he knows (Truth is nobody else can bear how he makes it!!). He starts off by getting some Roach, but even he is shocked at how fast the Carp move onto his oiled groundbait...he hadn't even got the 2nd rod up and they were virtually knocking on the door! Only a session of a few hours but he gets that trusty Avon quiver tip rod bent time and again. Check out the tips see just some ridiculously close to the bank he is getting hookups.. it's Totally Awesome action!

Don't talk to me about cod liver oil. No capsules straight out of the bottle 1 teaspoon before school. Never skipped off school because then it was double dose. There you are margin fishing and catching reasonable carp, the only thing missing was a loaf of bread which surprised me. Great video thanks for posting.

I went to a fishery today. I have been fishing about 8 weeks. I hooked two carp on both rods within 5 minutes. Caught a lot of roach, big and small ones. Then I noticed the carp at my feet, the water was bubbling with them. I chucked in my ground bait then my baited hook. A piece of sweet corn and some maggots. They ignored my offerings at first so I chucked in a small handful of maggots and sweet corn. They took the bait and within 6 hours I had landed 17 carp, one massive one, 5 broke free and about a dozen un hooked themselves. As usual loved this video today I am your number one fan.

I do wonder if any damage is caused when they are very small,say 1lb in weight and any abnormaility is carried through to when they might be 20lbs ?? Maybe someone else in fisheries knows the answer ??I ,like most anglers,will have seen it at some time or other in many fisheries.

@@TAFishing Hi i wasn’t getting at you in my comment as i love your videos, but i did notice their mouths all look a bit deformed and i watch other lake type videos and they are no different. I think the matches don’t help when they are catching over a hundred pound of carp in a few hours there is not much care in the handling of the fish..and a lot of them are caught in the margins so they are not played like in open water …..thanks keep up the great videos

I know exactly what you mean. Easy waters with smaller fish (up to say 12lb) always have it, and it’s down to ignorance and inexperience, and the “Argos” carpers as I call them. 3.5lb tc rods, braided hooklinks, short hairs and questionable unhooking techniques are the cause. Parrot mouth syndrome. Never see it on the rivers because the “Argos” carpers can’t catch fish on them.
@robertwren8878

Spot on and to add to this I think pulla kits on poles should be banned for this reason also it's becoming like American Bass fishing.Stabbing at fish with landing nets before their ready causes damage to their bodies if you don't get it right,for me this is not the right direction when kids are taking up fishing as it's not with pleasure in mind it's winning money and you tubers project caring for wildlife by showing us birds,insects,plants,scenery and sounds. It stinks and everything I've learnt and taught out of the window. Am I right or wrong ?
@h.c.weldingandfabrication949
@h.c.weldingandfabrication949 3 жыл бұрын
@@robertwren8878 agreed, pulla kits design allows a fish to be yanked in v. quickly regardless of fighting or size - that’s no good for any fish. There’s pros and cons to these fisheries, the Argos anglers will stick to them because it’s well too easy to catch and it makes them think they’re skilled anglers because they’ve managed 20 carp in a few hours - which leaves the proper fisheries to proper anglers.
