In Suikoden there are not one but two secret rooms in Neclord's Castle that are fully missable! First room with the gargoyle statues, all you need to do is push the leftmost status off of it's switch and the secret room will open. You're reward for this first room is the Darkness Rune, which is a less potent version of the Soul Eater Rune. The Darkness rune isn't missable but you normally can't get another until way later. As for the second room with the torches, simply light all of the bottom row of torches except for the second-most right torch to gain access to this secret room. This room has a Blue Ribbon which is a mediocre accessory, however if you don't get it during this raid on Neclord's Castle, it's gone for good, so if you're going for a completion file, be sure to pick up the Blue Ribbon!
