I remember an event that took place when Jimmy Carter was president. Jimmy Carter was traveling in the presidential limousine and apparently the local police failed to block off intersections. So a man who was driving his car stopped at a stop light. When the light turned green he proceeded into the intersection and crashed into the presidential limousine. No one was injured, but the man in his car got the big surprise of his life when he saw himself surrounded by Secret Service Agents all with their guns pointed at him. From what I remember of this event the presidential limousine looked like nothing had happened to it while the mans car was damaged. This is due to the fact that the presidential limousine is built like a tank to protect the president.

Maybe they, (the Secret Service) have made a few mistakes over the years, but at least they have learned from them. I am so very proud of them and the fantastic job they do to keep not only our President safe, and secure, but America protected as well. I would guess that most people have no clue of the many jobs done by this great organization. Keep up the great work.
