This kinda reeks of Wes Anderson. The settings, the filters, storytelling, and even characters.

There are brief moments which have similar framing to WA but that's about it. Overall, no disrespect to the REMARKABLE talent involved, it looks like fecal matter. I'm not super proud to admit this, but I thought "one more tired Agatha Christie knock-off before the generation who would appreciate it fades out". Middle of the road for middle class middle England. Wow - I feel very strongly about this I guess!

@@mrdickdynamite That one is trash. It took what could have been a good idea and absolutely ruined it by making it political. A good murder mystery should be timeless. Murder of the Orient Express is timeless. 10 years from now, long after, the audience will wonder what the hell they're talking about and Knives Out will be forgotten

There are two Poirot's movies by Kenneth Branagh, and a Knives Out movie. All came out in the last 6 years. You are clearly missed out a lot.

Clue is the best; everyone seems to be having so much fun, and nearly every single line is quotable. You should also check out Murder by Death, if you haven't seen it yet!
