The chemistry, the tension, it's perfect. It's like a book; this time, I don't read it, I see it. I love the actor - oh God, he looks like Matt Smith and gives off Aaron Warner vibes. He's captivating, whether he's angry or mocking her, smiling or breathing, but especially his expression when he tells her, "You're not invisible, not to me."

Amazing series! I started it thinking it would be just some regular love story drama with subpar acting. The actors really surprised me here. Now it’s one of my favorite that I’ve watched 😂 the pool scene made me really feel bad for her, and after he decides to stop talking to her, you can see how bad in pain he is 😢 I can’t wait for season 2!!

Chemistry insane❤ James and Ruby have all my heart, they really show how love story should be directed more towards emotion, communication, understanding, support and not just lust No useless teen sex scene more dialogue, and well written character Love all the sub characters especially the twin sister, the driver, Ruby family and friends, Alistair. You edit so superb as always🥰

This was like watching your favorite romantic novel come to life. No unnecessary drama or love triangles or cheating like it usually is in western tv shows. I thought only Koreans were capable of creating wholesome romantic dramas but I guess I was wrong.

Anyone But You....they don't start off as enemies though. It's a movie. To be honest, I don't really know a series like this and I'm of the older crowd and have watched many romance series and films. Also a figure skating movie called The Cutting Edge with Moira Kelly and D.B. Sweeney. It's an American classic, but it's not a series. I can't really think of an American series that is like Maxton Hall. There is Gossip Girl but Chuck and Blair just annoy each other but they are not really enemies. There is a Korean series called Personal Taste and it's a really good Korean series, but the characters aren't really enemies either, however the guy really finds the girl annoying in the beginning. I would say Maxton Hall is unique, beautifully written, excellent actors and beautiful cast, just a very beautiful story.

A lot of books by German authors are actally set in English-speaking counries, such as America or Great Britain. I think it's better this way and less cringe but you are right, it weird that they speak German when they're supposedly British.
