I was with him for 9 years and were just 3 months shy from a year of the break up. So I guess it’s not that soon after,but he said he met her this year online and became friends so how soon after did he really move on,but maybe he moved on probably when we’re still together.

I mean how can you digest the fact that once they were with you and now they moved on with someone elese and you are still struggling to move on. Because no matter how mutual the breakup is there is always one (girl or boy) who loves the other one more. And they are the one who finds it difficult to move on.

I had to delete my social media, seeing her with the new guy destroyed me. She never posted us as a profile picture, and we dated way longer. Word of advice, do not check their social media, I learned the hard way. I hope I never experience something like this ever again, might just stay single forever.

I've been doing so much more inner work that I'm starting to see why people always say "you're still young. explore whatever you need". it was exactly what I did and ughhhh so good! felt like I was dating myself, learning to know parts of myself i've yet to discover!

We are part of the same large friend group so we see eachother quite often. I don't want him back but I still hold our time together very dear. This hits me hard. I moved on for 2 years and suddenly I saw him active on the app again when he was inactive for the past 2 years after we ended things. Except this time he specifically put that he is looking for a serious relationship when he was vague with me in the past. Also put down something I used to say to him and he noted that he is looking for someone who can do that. I felt slightly triggered knowing that he is looking for something that he found in me but now wanting it from someone else. I never exactly got the closure I wanted because he pretty much abruptly said that we shouldn't see each other again that last day and then he walked out of my place without even looking at me when I was sobbing. I handled the last 2 years with a lot of personal development and growth...but just a couple days ago, I feel like I'm thrown back to square 1. I'll be ok because I know it's not going to work out if he can just walk away like that and try to start fresh with someone else instead of working things out with me in the past.

My ex and I broke up last year (February).. At the end of our relationship I was toxic and unsure of myself and he used to warn me because he was getting tired of being accused of some things he didn't deserve. And I knew that but I was really immature and always ended up apologizing do him. But what we had was so intense and he treated me so well... I was childish. One month later, on march, he was already with this other girl but he kept on texting me saying that he missed me and that what he had should have been different cause I was for sure the love of his life. We cheated on his girlfriend with me 3 times until the end of the year. And when his girlfriend found out, he was completely devastated, he couldnt stop calling and apologizing to her and he has been like that since the beginning of this year. And I feel so replaced... like how can you act like that? Knowing that I have feelings for him and he doesn't let me go but now he's crying over this girl and really investing on her...
