A life long dream come true! I've always said if I won the lottery, the first car I'd buy would be a Ferrari 250 SWB.. mainly because they're currently cost around £10million so chances of me buying one without winning the lottery are slim! But that may have all changed, thanks to GTO Engineering's 250 SWB Revival.
With over half a million miles under their belt driving some of the most special Ferraris of all time, and over 200 years’ combined experience working on Ferraris, the team at GTO Engineering has created what they believe to be the ultimate interpretation of two legendary Sixties Ferraris. Welcome to the Revival series.
The 250 SWB Revival and 250 TR Revival models are strictly enhanced, improved or rebuilt at the GTO Engineering UK headquarters, using the team’s extensive knowledge, know-how, historical technical drawings and industry insight.
GTO Engineering offers a fully bespoke experience when specifying both the 250 SWB Revival and 250 TR Revival models. With a choice of interior and exterior enhancements including heritage colour schemes, alongside engine and gearbox options, the Revival series vehicles are built in the UK for a global audience.

Better in MANY ways, as even those with the means to by an original, dare not drive them much. This can be driven at will, with zero fear of harming historical Ferrari, or knocking several million off the value. If I had an original, I’d buy one of these as well, so I could get the amazing experience in a ‘Modern’ way, without detriment Take it to the shops or for a drive on Sunday. No need to make sure every drive is supported and sufficiently important to make the history file.

The 250 SWB is the best of the best, you can even forget the GTO to my eyes! I recall a number of years back at Goodwood, finding myself alone with the ex Moss SWB he raced there back in the 60s. It was in dark blue with the signature white stripe that went across the front of the car. Even standing still it was 'poetry in motion', a stunning car.

So glad GTO are doing these, the originals are so precious you just can’t drive them like they are supposed to. Still ludicrously expensive….but at least it opens up the 250 range to a wider community.

This video had me smiling and grinning the whole time. I drove 5 very different cars yesterday and all of them had me smiling, this is what cars should be! A Stinger GT with an amazing exhaust had me just downshifting nonstop with the sunroof open, a Tesla model 3 had my guts being pressed against my back from inside with the mind boggling acceleration, an almost 20 year old Corolla with no AC had me rowing through gears revving the shit out of the tiny 90hp 1.4 chucking it into corners way too fast with windows down, then a 300hp turbo saab convertible listening to incredible turbo noises echoing off buildings in the city soaking up the sun top down, and at the end of the day a Giulia Veloce Q4, playfully moving her rear around enthusiastically taken corners when carving through the empty city at 2am. Thank you for this video Sam, I've decided too, one day I'll hit up GTO Engineering, say Sam sent me and I'll have one dark green and tan SWB with a beautiful wooden steering wheel and a 4.0 V12 please, thank you very much.

Outstanding! I love the emotion the 250 SWB invokes and to see you smile and cry and scream is as raw and as brilliant as the sound of that V12. Love it!

Your real emotion for this is exactly why I subscribe and watch every video. You have a different perspective on cars than so many others. I don't always want a review of a car. I want to feel like I'm in it myself. This did it for me. The emotion shows you're genuine.. Big love brother! Everyone else.. Be more like Sam!!

I totally feel your appeal for this. The original 250 SWB's are way too expensive, but this lets you get a chance at experiencing that rawness and elegance of the 60's Ferrari's. I loved this video, and the fact that you had that emotional reaction to driving it - Its a lifetime dream to be able to experience that - so let it all out, there is no shame in that. You're the man for having that determination on buying this, and I have that same dedication towards this car myself. So hopefully I'll have mine right up there next to yours, as the second highest mileage 250 SWB haha, fingers crossed :)

“There’s no way to explain what it’s like in here?” 😆 I’m pretty sure you summed it up when you said “I wish I had long flowing hair”. That was classic! Instant image of wearing a tailored Italian dark blue suit, freshly white starched shirt with the top button open, with Persol tortoise shell sunglasses, expensive watch and loafers without socks.

Having watched your content over the years, I’ve measured your excitement by the number of octaves your voice has gone up - to see that spill over into emotion is a true experience 👍

Totally and unashamedly taken in by this. Sam, your content is INFECTIOUS and never do you seem to underestimate the priveleges your hard work is begining to offer you. That's special, something for which no one will resent you, and increasingly rare within the current age of KZfaq 'look at me' tendancies. Bravo Sam.

These homage versions are so much better than the originals in terms of driving and enjoyment with their, at the time, limited engineering and tech. Thanks for the such a real video.

One of the greatest videos you've created! The passion and the emotion bursts from the screen in a quite beautiful outpouring of enthusiasm, for a very special car. Just brilliant. I've you're not moved by Sam's exuberance for all things automotive (and coffee!), epitomised in this video, then you are barely alive. I wanted to cry tears of joy with you! Thank you so much for creating and sharing this content. It's made my day.

The S-bend intro shot, stunning. My hat off to you mate, captured the raw emotion of an experience that demands it, and that few, if any of the other automotive KZfaqrs can anymore. Pure class.

Amazing video Sam! Have watched it three times already, actual goosebumps every time... The way you manage to share your enthusiasm and passion, this is why I love your content. I really hope that people that own ‘original versions’ worth millions buy one of these as well... and drive it! (Also im very happy my savings account holds nowhere near 850k, because I would be on my way to GTO engineering...)
