I've been wearing the black one for 13 months now. Nearly every day except when I'm wearing my Seiko Monster Antarctica. A few very light hairline scratches on the bezel but it has not broken though the coating. Overall I'm very happy with it and I'd buy one again if something happened to this one. No complaints from me 😊

I have a 6.25" wrist and I find it wears fine after switching out the bracelet with a leather band. I feel the male end link makes it wear slightly larger. At the end of the day, who cares what other thinks about the size of your watch. If you like it and its comfortable then that's all it matters. I got the black one from reputable oversea AD. With a strong cdn $ against the green back, free shipping and next to no tax, it was a great deal. This is the next best thing to the Grand Seiko GMT with the spring drive movement and cost 1/3 of the price.

Well said! If you like then who cares. I try to always remember when doing size suggestions to add "in my opinion" Yes good point a leather strap will def help out wear ability.

Came close to buying the green version, but decided to just stick with the BALTIC GMT 39mm, I give SEIKO credit for the issuing a true GMT with the jumping hour hand, more should do that at this price range

Each to their own but there's no way I would choose a 5 years old company over seiko. The seiko is also a 4hz movement.

Just ordered the green one from Japan. Been on the lookout for a true GMT, around 41mm, around $1,000. This tics the most boxes with style I love.

Good review. The Sharp Edged GMT is actually not just a great watch, its actually incredible value. In terms of size, a 49.1mm lug to lug is very comfortable on my small 6.7" wrist. A GMT below a 42mm dial is just not clear enough to see.

I bought the white on white that was delayed a month. It's hard to read the time with the lack of contrast, but it is beautiful.

I brought a green face this morning, just waiting for the bracelet be sized up before collection. It suits my personal style perfectly, it’s a beautiful daily wear watch and one I’m really excited about. I have a Longines Hydroconquest, which is a great watch, but I just love the Seiko’s more, if that makes sense? The pinnacle of where I want to go is a Grand Seiko Hotaka Peaks, but that will have to be once the kids have grown up and left home 😂

I m loving this minii series and hope youre able to get brown and 140th versions in. Imho they ought to have used red gmt hand on the green dial; the yellow doesn't really work for me. I guess I'm being pushed towards the brown or possibly the 140 ani. Saving up for one so let's see what's available a bit later in the year. I love this watch and I am getting obsessed by it. Glad I have a 7 1/2 wrist.

Thanks. I don't think seiko sells spare links. Go onto a watch forum, or seiko group on reddit or facebook. Someone with the same watch with tiny wrist probably has 3-5 links available.

Often wondered why Seiko doesn't make an entry or mid tier level prospects sports automatic GMT watch, the last one they made was the Navigator back in the Seventies. If they reissued this it would be a home run as you say your side of the pond! If I wanted to buy this sort of thing now I would have to look at a Baltic, Lorier or Yema!

Seiko Watch is made from Titanium, so hard watch and nice watch. The Seiko Watch have now GPS, the first ever watch to have GPS automatic adjust time wherever you are on Earth. I have this watch, so very nice watch.

Any chance you'll be getting one of the Zero Halliburton Sharp Edge GMTs in for review? Would love one of these to travel with so I can stop worrying about scratching or losing my Tudor GMT! And I love love love that these are 4hz. Totally agree that all 6Rs should be 28.8k considering how much of a premium they charge over a 4R. 70 hr PR and 4hz would absolutely blow the sw200, 2824, and even powermatic 80 out of the water. May be too much to ask for though, considering the 8L don't even have 70h

I would like to see a review of the Vostok even if you hate it. There are so many positive reviews of these watches out there, it would be good to see one with a different perspective. I've never owned one as I don't like the idea of owning a watch with a plated case or crown & I don't really buy the wobbly crown being a safety feature, to me this is just poor quality!

the Amphibias are stainless steel cases, always have been. The Komandirski had the base metal plated case. Recently, it seems the Amphibia crowns have been stainless as well, the wobbly thing is not a big deal. I see the one he has now in the video, that is a stainless case Komandirski, don't know why they do that,, in the past it would have been an Amphibia

Not really fan of the dail pattern. Probably will wait till they release a plain dail next time. And the date will be blocked by hands. Still enjoy the content though

On a 6.5 inch wrist it's almost too large for what I consider a good fit... and the date wheel looks cramped at the end of the month. Sadly not for me, but great value for a true GMT watch.

Is there an actual reason for male endlink? All it does is make the lug to lug way too long. I just can’t understand why you would ever want to use anything besides female end links.

I wise man once said there are no trash watches .....just watches one doesn't like, I believe he was 100% correct. If you can manage a unbiased review of the Vostok go ahead... otherwise nevermind.

It seems that I am not the only one with reservations about this watch. It promises so much, but doesn't deliver in some key areas, although, to be fair, neither the Rolex or Tudor GMT watches are very different in terms of thickness. I just feel that the watch hasn't been developed properly prior to being placed on the market. This isn't like the Japanese...

I REALLY like the look of these, but it's hard to justify a dressy tool watch that's larger than my Samurai STO Manta. My wrist is ~7.25", so I could probably get away with it... But I'd rather not go that large. Thumbs up for "It's engineered to be a piece of $#!%....... It's still a piece of $#!%"
