That’s why in 1994, they toured Mexico, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, and a lot of other Latin American countries to make her a really big crossover star. They had a lot of trouble with their label crossing them over into the English market, because they thought that she wasn’t big enough yet. So that’s all of 1994 rying to prove that they could do the English album with a huge Spanish population backing them up.
