Welcome to the brave new world. You can't expect our society to stagnate or get stuck in the past. This is the reality of it. There is always a downside to progress unfortunately. People lose their jobs all the time. But then again, people will find jobs eventually and organisations will come and go. But organisations will always find ways to innovate to stay afloat to current and emerging technology, or worse....disrupting technologies. We can either hate the reality of the technological impact or embrace it. I prefer to embrace it.

yes it's wonderful for the big corps and their profits, not so for millions of people who lose their jobs... expect an uprising of the poor, and vandalism...

where is the non workers comp . maybe when you luck out and the person knows what there doing and you do as well you can get out quick . reality people have issues and always will look at the atms after 40 years people still take for ever at atm . why leave your house you can do all this at home.

Do not use the self-service checkout, you are saving the supermarkets billions in wages why? Wise up, if they are not paying you do not do the work. Unless it is a charity. Only a moron will work for free.
