In this scenario, you play as four generations of leaders among the Seljuk Turks. Each played their own role in expanding their empire, and naturally each have their own ambitions. Try to fulfill those before the leader dies!

thanks for yet another informative play through. IMHO this was one of the best designed campaigns of this collection, and always enjoyed playing it.

This is one of my favourite scenarios, the combo of unique techs is great! I just wished the allies would be a bit more dynamic instead of just standing there. For example allying with Kipchaks would give you the Kipchak as a unique unit; while the Kara-Khanids would give you the Mangudai, or some other team bonus. The nomadic tribes are a pain to deal with but once you can settle, a well positioned castle or two will solve everything easily.

You get the Mangudai anyway I think. Train them at the wonder.

No freaking joke. I allied with green. After the first orange invasion (which I had to bail them out) they ally orange and their imams were healing the orange units while they attacked me. I’m just like wtf

A very unique nomadic scenario. Finally the Yurts have some value, at least from what I've seen, other than as population and distractions. Only having cav units is nice for such a scenario as you won't have to worry about infantry, foot archers, or siege and can just mass cav to your heart's content. I certainly enjoy being able to mass cav as a steppe civ and just ride around having fun raiding and razing everything in my path. Ride, Raze, Raid. The three Rs of the steppe civs.

Like Genghis Khan the Steppe nomad scenarios with Cav archer micro is always fun, but I have few complains with this. Acess to mangudai makes this not diverse enough from the mongols one, CA with special upgrades should be just fine. The horses are a fun mechanic but u can just park them on an island and they are fine. The Petcheneg horde comes way to early and the way AI agro works makes them chase me through the whole map, with luck few vills and my hero survived and by luring them into my allies i dealt with them, but the ambitions were out of reach since u build from 0 up again. The rest is well designed, the random defeat after my last Hero spawned (thanks god for autosave) is a bug and not a design flaw

I hate when he does that and keeps getting surprised every single time but he does that to make a faster run i guess? I'm kinda of a slow player y'know? Slow and steady

@@saifvenus6683 Because playing very safe and cautious doesn't make for very good content. Drags out videos with lots of waiting and decreases the chance of me failing in a hilarious way 11

hello, does anyone know what to do to complete achievement called "Age of Empires" Win a game with every civilization. what does it mean? win all campaigns or to complete at multi or ... ?

I'm pretty sure you have to just win a game with every single civ. One game at a time and one civ at a time. It doesn't matter if it is a campaign game or simply a random map game against the AI. You'll probably have to purchase the new civs, though
