People had so many conversations about who's the worst player AL could play with and still win, but you see in mlp, she still needs a ridiculously good partner to win. It's becoming apparent she can't just win with anyone like previously thought. Ppl are catching up and learning her tendencies

She has become more undisciplined lately, with premature speed-ups. Not sure if she has become too cocky or is just experimenting with a different play style ...

@MagicPickleball it's a good observation. If you saw the Johnsons final last week, she was trying sooo hard to be discipline it seemed bc she can't get away with pulling from the shoelaces on top tier players anymore. It was weird to watch her not attack balls she normally would. Interested to see what happens. She still lights ppl up but players like the Kawas and brascias are almost becoming immune to it and it requires Catherine's amazing defense and resets to keep them in the points.

Point being, I don't think she can win with just anyone anymore.
