Selway quivers are awesome, I have two of the slide on ones, they are great. they also laser engraved a custom Kodiak bear on the hood for my vintage 1966 bear kodiak magnum bow. Selway makes great quivers!

Thanks Just What I needed. I bought my first Custom long bow and had them ship me the Selway quick release quiver. Very informative. I like the arrow placement example

Selway slide on best bow silencer on market. Love mine. Have had mine 21 years.

Jim, you can use liquid dish soap. Just a very tiny drop on your finger or Q tip. A little inside the grippers and it works well and doesn't seem to bother/hurt the finish on the limbs. Thanks for the video and stay safe.

I received my G string and selway quiver for my Mohawk Hunter and it looks and shoots incredibly. I highly suggest to everyone that you purchase one of Jim’s G strings 🤣 cheers Jim

What fitting would you reccomend for Uukha VX+ limbs and what size grippers does it come with? Would I need to order an additional one for micro diameter arrows? Thanks!

Do you know the mass weight of the slide on? Do the plastic weight a little less than leather?

Great video, how do you align the point and shaft portions of the Selway Bow Quiver to be parallel to each other?

The Quiver part and the attachment part are separate pieces and so they twist to line up. It feels like you're going to snap it first, but don't panic haha.

My gripper won’t slide at all. It’s off set like the video and it doesn’t move.

Quick question Jim. I have a trad bow quiver but the gripper for my arrows seems very tight on the shaft and not easy to remove and even harder to get arrows to clip back in. The gripper is the right size but just a little too tight. Any tips on how to make it easier to take arrows out and in? Thanks!

If you can remove the gripper, try submerging it in boiling water for awhile, get it nice and soft, slide it back in and clip your arrows in, let it cool down… hopefully that will expand the grippers ever is a slightly and make life a little bit easier for your arrows to come in and out 🤞

Do these quivers stay put once they're on the bow? Prob gonna get one for my toelke whistler but hope it doesn't slide down the limbs gradually.

From my experience, if you get them on right to begin with they stay on pretty solid :)

Sorry Jim off topic a bit But hybrid or recurve ?? Looking at a mohawk bow for 3d and hunting in New zealand 45 or 50# What would be your choice ? Thanks

No problem buddy, Honestly at this point when it comes to Limb profiles especially the hybrid and recurve there isn’t that much in it.. from my experience you tend to get a marginal increase in speed with a recurves and a marginal increase in stability with a hybrid.. 🤷‍♂️ I tend to shoot a hybrid limb because I think they look cool! 😎😅

Keep talcum powder on the rubber, it will make on and off easier and it gives rubber longevity as well.

The ones that screw in the side? They still make them, but we currently don't stock them...

Thanks for the review mate. I was going to buy one of these for my recurve, but after seeing how ugly they look on your bow I will pass on them. Cheers.
