That's terrible man! No lie I know this is late advice, but never leave bags or valuable out in the open. Always put em in the trunk or under the seats and don't do that when u park. Do it before arriving in case anybody is casing the spot. Glad u got a new one

This is kind of smash and grab is rampant in San Francisco. They drive around in broad daylight look for hatchback type cars driven by tourists. If they spot shopping bags or luggage in the truck area they jump out smash the rear windshield with one of those devices quickly grab all the bags throw them in their car and take off. They don't care if there are any witnesses because the police either won't show or by the time they get there they will be long gone. Even if you have tracking devices embedded in your bags the police claim they're too busy to track them down. My guess is copycats have caught on to this and are now committing similar crimes other major tourist areas like Vegas. My advice is do not leave any bags or luggage exposed in the car. Drop it off at your home or hotel ASAP. Park in garages that are protected with security not just cameras but somebody actively driving around. Check your insurance coverage to see if they will cover this type of theft. Some renters and homeowner policies will cover personal belongings stolen from your car. You also may want to look into some temporary travel insurance coverage that may cover this for your vacation trip. For devices like your phone and your laptop that have your personal information that could be used to steal your identity don't take them at all or make sure you create backups of your data and you have the ability to remotely wipe them.

Definitely disappointing. Shitty people we have in this world. Hope you didn't have any credit cards or passwords saved because my brother-in-law had half his identity taken from just his cellphone stolen. Behind the stratosphere is one of the most dangerous areas in Vegas. I saw you in the Throtl video also 😅😅
