What Sen. Trillanes did was conduct unbecoming of a gentleman and a Senator. It seems to me that the rebel in him superimposed the soldier and public servant that he is. I don't believe, in my humble view, that Senate President Enrile has a particular interest in the affairs of former President Arroyo. Aligning himself with the former president will only degrade his prominence in the political sphere. But even if it were true, Sen. Trillanes was just too disrespectful to the older statesman.
