Not a resident of RI but I have been there, and years ago I had an assignment in grade school to write to the governor and I don't recall what year it was or the governor's name I just remember how proud I was to hear back from him and to share it with my classmates. Clarence Thomas has an interesting life. There are very few who had a childhood as cruel. His late teen years were so bent on goodness yet ruined by more cruelty as I recall. Somehow he was able to move forward to keep improving himself and his education. Reading about him sometimes ago, I could only hope for the best for him. Now, years later he has chosen a less than honest path. His choice of wife is troublesome too. I am a life long Democrat and still want him treated fairly under the law. His wife has fallen again into conspiracy stories. She really knows better. She must also be treated fairly under the law.
