At that 'take over' NO one had weapons, no one destroyed other people's property, no police were hurt, no bats guns or other objects were present or used. People took selfies. Hardly violent. The police LEAD the people threw barricades and into the capitol. One window MAY have been broken. Not one part of that is playing by their rules. Don't get me wrong, if they had used violence and killing I am sure the police would have retaliated. Especially since they police murdered an UNARMED woman posing no threat. But we did not play by their rules at that event. For from it. What I mean by playing by their rules is that the only way to 'get through' to them is by FORCE. By violence. Nothing else will save us. We did not do that on Jan 6th. And if we ever do decide to stand up for what is right, it will not come easy. We will take major casualties because the Left has the police and military on their side.

@@froggiman1 When you say one window may have been broken, when we've seen lots of videos of it, you lose credibility. Have you ever played chess? Emotional reacting only makes things worse, and that is what happened that day. It doesn't take many Marxists to mislead and incite hot heads on our left or right, and then laugh at them. Breaking the law on the 6th stopped exposure to election cheating dead in its tracks and made Trump more of a target. We have to be smarter than that.

He also complained on the Senate floor about the debt and budget being too high, then proposed a bunch of new spending bills. Complains about budget, but DOESNT propose one thing for cutting it.

@@froggiman1 The amendments he proposed all moved power from the federal level to the state level. An amendment does not equal a spending increase. Also, Republicans are in the minority right now. They have a choice between only proposing entire bills that will never get passed, or to fight for as many changes as possible that have a chance if receiving bipartisan support. If all of Senator Lee's amendments to that bill were passed, he'd likely still vote against the overall spending bill, but it would pass without his support. He is doing his best from the position he is in, which is little different from when Republicans were in power. Republican does not equal small government or reduced spending and he's always been a minority within the party.
