Loved my mtw and upgraded to the mtw2 recently and the earbuds are acting up (not pairing to phone after disconnecting) they aren't in sync and the app doesn't connect to them either 🤷🏻‍♂️😪

Can you tell me your EQ settings? cause mine sounds like shit. Even my old $60 earbuds sounds better than these.

@@CuntLucifer Ah, sorry to hear about that. If you are looking for good wireless earbuds you might want to check out the Jabra Elite 85t. Not saying you should buy them, but they're a pretty good option.

The sound is indeed amazing, but the rest is a nightmare. Worst case, poor battery life, battery drain, faulty hinge, uncomfortable (and big) design and an horrible assistant voice. I mean, if it wasnt for the sound, those earbuds would certainly be the worst.

I've sent in my pair 3 weeks ago because the hinge was broken even with normal usage. Now they want 70 Euro for repair. Not really customer friendly... I am so angry.

Sound quality on 1st model is heaven. The buds i have never regretted buying.

@@mikelsibs492 definitely agree on that. Still have mines and they beat out even the Sony's. Can only imagine how great these new ones will be and with the improved battery and anc. No other company can compete with sennheiser in true wireless right now when it comes to that sound quality.

Did you have the first gen? It has near field magnetic induction. The only “major issue” I saw people repeat over and over again was that the earpieces went on standby and the battery would only last a week if you didn’t charge it. More of a use-case issue. The Sennheiser EQ was a bit simplified, good for those without much EQ experience, but I used the Neutron music player on my phone and just used that app’s EQ.

well, i am so enthusiastic in earbuds and two of my friends have gen 1. basically, what they say was eq settings is not appropriate for person who is interested in music enough to buy that device. All of my friends, even in music community, mentioned that battery issue and nfmi. That's all.

Eunchan Kim • I have a first gen MTW myself. It is easy to live with, once you understand it. . The EQ is basic, with one point you can move around while the app makes a parabolic shape for smooth FR transitions. I have seen other people mention that the EQ was not their favorite, including friends. Honestly, I usually used it flat, it is a bit weird but the workaround is easy since you could use any other EQ software instead. . NFMI. This is currently the most reliable way to wirelessly connect the right and left earbuds through all the bone and water in your head. Bluetooth signal has trouble going through any part of your body, so it would have had to try to go around, leading to more drop outs and lost connection. For best results, You would want to prioritize an almost line-of-sight connection with the right earpiece and your source, for example putting your phone in your right front pocket, but I honestly haven’t had drop-out issues with mine, even if I was going for a jog outside (where there is less walls to bounce Bluetooth back to your ear), and my right and left buds stayed connected as long as I didn’t leave my right bud on a desk. Airpods are pretty much the standard for comparison, and they also use NFMI. . Battery. I admit it was the most disappointing spec on paper about this Momentum before I bought it. It had half the runtime of Airpods, both in each earpiece and in the case, and then I read on the community that some people were waking up surprised to find their battery drained. I looked more deeply into it... like I said before, it went into a standby mode instead of shutting off completely, and a full charge only lasted about a week. That’s when I realized Sennheiser intended it for everyday use, and then charge it every day or two like a smartwatch/smartphone. I also experimented with leading the earpieces on my desk outside of the case... and then the case held its battery for a long time. . I’m not dismissing the points you made (except maybe the NFMI, which has worked reliably for me), and it’s helpful to think of improvements. I don’t know if Sennheiser made the EQ more granular this time, but they great extended the battery life, to the point where it lasts longer than Airpods (and I used to work at an Apple Store, never had people in-store complain about battery). It looks like they redesigned the microphones too. Their product page seems to indicate this generation was designed based on customer feedback. The fact that two of your friends bought a gen 1 means it had appeal as one of the best sounding true wireless IEMs on the market.

Yeah my left one is completely dead and my case is charged. App says they’re at 10%. Can’t even pair correctly. Very unacceptable.

No they don’t 😒. The thing to remember is this is not an electronics company like Apple, they are an audio sound company. Some things are definitely not seamless like Apple but they sound so much better. 🤷🏼‍♀️

More than 2x the battery runtime. More than AirPods. Personally, I’d still recommend recharging just before a vacation, or once a week if you don’t use it often.

@Papa Smurf i own the first ones and never had an issue like that, so i could assume that version 2 also won't have that kind of issue. I also own a lot of sennheiser professional audio equipment for filmaking and compared to other firms, they are the best in audio quality.

Hi there & thanks for your interest. You can pair MOMENTUM True Wireless 2 with up to eight different Bluetooth devices. The MTW 2 stores and remembers these pairings. However, you can only be connected to one device at a time, e.g. play music from one Bluetooth device. We hope this helps!

@@sennheiser I bought the MTW2s but for a $300 product, Sennheiser you really need to seriously consider adding multi-pairing in a firmware update or with newer releases. $50 pairs of truly wireless have this simple yet extraordinary convenient feature. I know several people who have passed on the MTW2 because of the lack of such a simple feature.

Earbuds should meet all standard function or you'll just get annoyed that the person talking to you can't hear you cause the mic is terrible or connection with phone is non responsive
