In this video we take a look at a Sensata Technologies Dimensions DSI-12/1200N Pure Sine Wave Inverter. This inverter was one of the first that I knew of that had the Pure Sine Wave output as claimed. This 1200W inverter is definitely worth the time to repair with excellent control and easy to work on platform as well. The main problem with this inverter ended up being a really easy fix, the Main Power ON/OFF switch was corroded and faulty. Good thing we have taken the time to look into it because we also have to address lots of other corrosion issues caused by leaking caps as well as a faulty cooling fan. BTW: To test the fan on this inverter, I had to use a heat gun and carefully heat up the heat sink bottom where the Temp sensor is that controls it. It came on fine, but just to mention it is not designed to run all the time, just heavy loads. Hope you find it helpful and Thanks for watching!
