Elinor was the true heroine of this story. Her patience and steadfastness and temperance in the face of all of her secret pain - and she was rewarded! Marianne may have been exciting, but Elinor was virtuous.

Wow! Very nice work. This is the best video that I have seen about my favorite Elinor And Edward. I also like Emma and Hugh but these 2 (Hattie and Dan) are still my favorites.

Loved it! Very well put together! I don't get why everyone seems to be do into Brandon and Marianne - I think there's so much more heart in Edward and Elinor's story and a good amount of angst :)

Yeah true I've always loved Edward and Elinor pair more in Sense and Sensibility. With due respect to Marianne and Col. Brandon, I love both the characters but could never see any chemistry between them. Edward and Elinor are far more interesting. ❤️

One thing I love thinking about is that Edward probably did go into the Clergy. He and Elinor would be some of the most kind-hearted, loving souls to look out for those less fortunate.

Yeah do - it was a 2 parter i think - maybe 3 parter can be bought on DVD - the actor is Dan Stevens - I prefer him to Hugh Grant he fits the character a lot more naturally :) hope you enjoy it! xx

will have to check out this version-series, was it? this guy looks a lot like younger version of H. Grant and lots of domestic detail from the time, it seems...i like that.
