I was a CO at the prison he was initially sent to after his hearing......escorted him to a couple appointments and this dude was nuts. He was there for maybe barely a month, and then he was gone somewhere else.

An attorney that would try to defend someone that admitted to that crime is pretty nasty. I couldnt do it.

There was a serial killer up here in Toronto who was preying on men for years. If I remember correctly he also used Grindr to meet his victims. He worked as groundskeeper and they found some of his victims ground up and used as fertilizer in potter plants for his customers.

Man, the way Letunski (however it's spelled) had two victims get away without facing any repercussions for both incidents, like these victims _literally_ narrowly escaping a horrible fate, and him actually chasing after them and other citizens and 911 gets sucked into the situation, and Letunski personally talks his way out of these citizens suspecting him of anything and avoids getting arrested... This is a page right out of the Jeffrey Dahmer playbook.

Its pretty disgusting to me that there were multiple cases of this happening and the state didnt pick up any charges any time. Absolutely unbelievable the first two victims let it go out of fear of their reputation being tarnished. I feel like they should hold some responsibility for this death

Oh my god I remember this story and remembered that Jeffree Star donated some money (and or took care of all the expenses forgot exact which one it has been a good long while) to the victims family so they could give him a proper burial

Losing anyone, anytime but especially around the holidays is horrible but this case was next level horrific. I didn't know Kevin personally but I know people that did and he was known as a sweetheart and great stylist. We have a thing here in Flint called "The Block" that people have painted since I was a kid for birthdays, memorials, marriage proposals you name it, I drove by The Block not long after Kevin was found and it had been painted in memory of him. I have no interest in even driving by where it happened like many people do in these cases. I mean why? I HAVE to pass places living in Flint knowing and I'm sure unknown to me that bad things have happened especially being that Flint was once known as the M capital and still ranks pretty high per capida. But I've lived most of my life in Flint and it is getting better, bad things happen everywhere and sadly this was just one of them.

I saw a documentary on this and this dude is so weird and unattractive I don't understand how anyone would be comfortable around him. I saw the dash cam when he was arrested and the way he acted was so nonchalant I'm surprised he didn't tell them he wanted to torture them before they met in person cause that's how comfortable he was talking about what he had done. This was the easiest conviction ever! Dude was proud of himself. What they saw in him I'll never understand.

I came home I had a lady with ripped clothes in my driveway screaming her head off. I got out asked what happened and apparently her old man beat her bad. Bro her eyes were busted up mouth bleedin and shit. I have her one of my flannel over coats and placed my Glock on my side and called the cops and an ambulance. I would’ve let her in but my daughter was inside with my wife. So yea man just coming up on something or something coming up to you out of nowhere is a pretty messed up thing. I wouldn’t have let the guy in either but I would’ve made sure he was safe till the blues got there.

I remember this from a while back. It's obviously not good for people, innocent or not, to have their lives threatened by being chained up in a basement, but it just amused me when the situations of the 2 survivors were described, seeing as the suspect basically looked like the grim reaper... I wasn't amused by what happened to Kevin Bacon though.
