조성진이 진짜 대단한 이유 몇가지를 적자면 나이에 비해 훨씬 더 노련하다는 것. 풍부한 감정, 세심한 터치, 곡마다 요구하는 느낌을 자신의 음악성과 합쳐 표현하는 풍부한 표현력, 매 연주마다 미스터치가 거의 없는 점에서 천재적인 재능이 있지만 엄청난 연습을 한다는것도 안봐도 눈에 보임.. 한국의 젊은 피아니스트 중에선 최고인건 당연. 앞으로 더 발전한다면 역대최고도 무난히 될 듯. 이미 최고반열이지만... 이상 쇼팽콩쿠르 이전부터 조성진팬 겸 작곡전공학생..

쇼팽콩쿨 전부터 팬이었는데... 쇼팽콩쿨 전에도 조성진연주자 이름보고 연주회 갈정도로 믿고듣는 연주자였고, 나이에 비해 음악성이며 음악을 대하는 태도며 정말 모든게 성숙했죠. 쇼팽콩쿨 우승후 갈라콘서트도 갔었는데, 같은 한대의 피아노를 여러 피아니스트가 연주하니까.. 확실히 특별하다는것을 더 느꼈어요. 정말 터치 음색부터 확연히 달라요.. 몇백년만에 한번 나올만한 보물 같은 연주자입니다. 건강하게 오래오래 지금처럼 감동적인 연주 들려주시길 바래요. ^^

정말 건강하게 오래오래 활동 해줬으면 좋겠어요^^ 그런 의미에서… 연주 많이 하는것도 좋지만 코로나 이전처럼 너무 빡빡한 스케쥴은 아니었으면 좋겠네요.

I've been a fan since before the Chopin Competition... Even before the Chopin Competition, Jo Seong-jin was a performer that I trusted enough to go to a concert, musicality for my age and attitude toward music, everything has really matured. After winning the Chopin Competition, I also went to a gala concert, and since several pianists play the same piano, I felt that it was definitely special. It's really different from the touch tone.. He's a treasure trove that can only come out once in hundreds of years. I hope that you will be able to hear the moving performances like now in good health for a long, long time.

Reading through the comments.. I think it's unbelievable that Cho was still able to win despite being given a 1/10. That's 9 other points he's had to make up for with the other judges to beat his competitors, and he did. Remarkable.

@@ayushrudra8600 One of the jurors gave him a 1/10 in the final round, the lowest score possible, because he had a grudge against him. He won despite that. :)

Every time I listen to this performance I am overwhelmed by the sheer beauty created by both the composer and the pianist. And when I think of their youth I am again overwhelmed. Chopin was barely 20 when he completed this concerto; Cho was only 21 when he performed it and won first prize in the 2015 International Chopin Competition. What an amazing accomplishment for each young musician! What a wondrous gift to the world!

Amazingly mature performance by a 21 year old pianist! but then an amazingly mature composition by a 20 year old composer! Mr Cho is a phenomenon.

Simply in AWE, mesmerized and so grateful to have discovered Seong-Jin Cho after just watching the finalists of the 2021 competition. Its breathtaking to watch and listen to him play; so seemingly effortless yet so powerful!!

My 6 year old son asked, "Mom, why do we have to listen to piano music everyday, every night?" me: "Because it is so good!" We play this almost every night at around 8pm, to kind of wind-down routine before going to bed. It is amazing to see both of my children just stare and listen to Cho Seong-Jin play.

Very glad Cho chooses to play the more demanding Steinway because while it has the tougher action, the breadth and depth of the bass register with it's softly lingering tones in the upper register are the perfect marriage in the right hands. In Cho's hands, he and the instrument mesh perfectly with the works of Chopin. Brilliant pianist. I'm enthralled.

저는 비록 클래식, 하물며 피아노에 대해서는 잘 알지 못하지만, 이번 대회 우승자 영상을 먼저 보고 바로 이어서 조성진님 연주를 들었습니다..팔이 안으로 굽어서가 아니라 그냥 조성진님이 압도하는군요!!

콩클은 쇼팽적이고 전통적 해석이라면 갈라컨서트는 성진님만의 깊은 감성이 녹아 든 극강의 섬세함과 아름다움이 두 연주의 다른점같아요. 역시 천재 피아니스트 성진초님 최고의 피아니스트. 브라보!!!

@@ice8417 공감합니다 저는 올해 쇼콩 라운드별 연주들으면서 올해는 우승자가 없이 2위부터 수상자나올거라 예상했고 많은분들도 그렇게 예상했었는데 2등 둘 4등 두명씩 공동수상자까지 12명중 8명수상이라니 좀 황당하더라구요

Tremendous admiration for the warmth, and atmosphere created by Maestro Jacek Kaspszyk conducting the Warsaw Philharmonic. His gentle smiles of encouragement, and twinkling eyes are everything you'd want when playing as a concerto soloist! Immediately puts everyone at ease. Absolutely lovely, warm, talented conductor! The first violinist was also a gem smiling in priceless enjoyment with the entire performance. Bravo to all!

I agree %100 for this wonderful Maestro Jacek Kaspszyk conducting the Warsaw Philharmonic. This pianist played with other conductor this same music but music does not sounds same like this good. He is best. I listen this music every day.
