I agree. The only ones who know how their "negotiation" went were those present. Something tells me it may have gone differently had the father and son met alone first. I also sensed that the partners didn't help in the aftermath. I felt Tori and Zach acted and responded in a passive/aggressive way, especially in how they told Matt and Karen they were moving through Jackson. I understand Matt being reluctant to turn his life's work over to anyone he didn't feel responsible to take care of it. This generation has a sense of entitlement that is unbelievable. They want something handed to them that took their parents years to achieve. They have four children and several grandchildren. What if Zach and Tori couldn't handle the responsibility? How would the others feel about their future inheritance? I didn't feel that Matt ever commented in an unloving or hateful way. Whereas, Tori and Zach, especially Tori, were behaving immature and petty. It's one thing to let go of something when you're in your 80's or 90's, quite another when your 60. I know many families with lots of land and most of the time the head of the family will divide the land when their children begin having their own families. That seems like a fair way to handle this situation. I'm surprised that the "farm" isn't incorporated in some way with the family members as the shareholders. That way, everyone has a vote and everyone is responsible to do their part. I was so pleased to hear Matt's decision to leave it all to Amy. I completely understand Karen's response. I think she gets a lot of blame when it appears to be unwarranted. I was a bit shocked at Amy's response. I love Amy but she can be a bit cynical and hard. Matt did sound a bit not 100% sure, which may be what Amy reacted to. I hope it does come to pass and the family can move on. Life is too short to waste fighting with your family. I love that Matt and Karen and Amy and Chris get along. I think the show could certainly go on without the kids. They have a large following by themselves. They are good, kind, hard working people that fans can relate to. And the farm is amazing. I like Zach and Tori and they are wonderful parents. That being said, I feel they acted out of anger and hurt without calming down first. They hurt innocent family members by moving the grandkids further away, not to mention their siblings and cousins. No matter what the circumstances are, the farm can still be a place to gather. That doesn't have to change. I wish them all well.

💯👍 🎯. I quit watching this dysfunctional family and this came up on notifications. Zach's 3 siblings went to college and on their own. Lazy Zach needs to realize that this show isn't forever. Because of him and Amy, I'm done. Amy is extremely bitter. She got her fair share, or you wouldn't hear the end of it. Nagging constantly. Matt works extremely hard with the farm and the beautiful house on the 2nd season through all her bitching. Unappreciative, but it put a lot of money in her pocket so yes Zach should hit her up for money.

@meshiamae I totally agree w/you & have said basically the same thing several times. Even now, divorced & happily(?) remarried, Amy's still bitter, hostile & resentful. Zack seems like a spoiled & entitled son.

Why would he do that? That’s his property and his wife if he wants to leave it to his kids when he passes or give them something that’s his business but you can’t expect him just handover his property in his life. Zach isn't the only one w/ kids. All the sons are dads. Not sure about their daughter. Amy seems to favor the little person offspring a lot though.

It's a shame that the way people see disadvantages and advantages is through a scratched and defective lense. Once the lense is replaced with a new lense, the world will not be as clear on who has the advantage and who is disadvantaged. The population that have preconceived thoughts, will have a moment of awakening when they realize that they are not the be all- put in a place to judge others. When they realize that in all reality, they were wasting time feeling sorry for others, who are highly intelligent, skillled , athletic and have accomplished more in life then most . Matt is a businessman, a dreamer and a smart guy. He's also not afraid to work hard. That guy, with all the challenges he has had to overcome, built an amazing property. The kids were loved and pampered by their Mom, Amy. Both parents instilled in their kids wonderful qualities. When I watch their life, it feels real. Probably the most real "reality" shows on. Watching the Kardashians or the RHof whatever, makes me disgusted. They are so twisted and staged. Their audiences eat it up and throw their hard earned money at them, over and over again. For what? They are so shallow. And that makes their audiences even more shallow.

But that was when they were young kids. Matt is sooo money hungry! He thinks strangers are going to take care of farm better than your kids who would love to see their kids playing on the farm! Disgusting
