It’s all a means to an end my friend... Like I said in the first video when I introduce the sequoia nothing was available at the time of my initial build. Everything was on back order 6+ months out or more I put that shock on there because it was available that day and in better shape than the stock shocks with 230k miles on them.. at that time I wasn’t sure if I would stay stock width go long travel do a solid axle swap or run the Dana 50 ttb set up I have laying around ..when I was in Michigan I couldn’t find a used shock to swap them out for any way and I hadn’t tested the truck with the tire moved forward 2” in the long travel set up to see if its even something I’m going to keep. I use budget stuff to try out ideas and see if they are something I want to do.. when that decision is made I’ll put real fab work in and use quality parts. I’ll be taking the sequoia out with Vic and a few other friends this coming weekend to see how it stacks up with it only being in 2wd mode lol.
