@@Katerina9256 HI..I know his story and that of his father, I have followed his career Troy since the early 70s. He was swallowed up by the big industry. It´s true, he was volatile and a drug user as almost all rockers of the era, but he was doing his job. Too Much To Lose was a commercial failure, not a musical one. Polydor should have promoted the hell out of him but they didn't. One hit, money for the first time, drugs, frustration and emotionality: perfect mix for a self-destructive debacle.

One of the greatest vocal performances I have ever heard and I'm 67 years old and grew up listening to the British Invasion, Motown and all the great 60s bands. Roy had his songs. Frankie had his songs. Elvis had his songs. Elton had his songs. Mick had his songs. Lennon and McCartney had their songs but NO ONE compares to this vocal of all time. I can't understand why he didn't melt singing this. The song resonates from every pore in his body. Be honest. If he sang this in front of you and just you and no one else would you ever be the same? I think not. You would spend eternity with this song in your head. I want you to know that life as you know would never ever be the same. Think on it and listen to the song again like you already have for 1,000 times.
