That is legit what happened to me in highschool, so I always went with friends that didn't have dates and had an absolute blast. I got told years later by a classmate that everyone just thought I was intimidating, and I told him it would have been great to know that then, because I was lonely, and would have loved to talk to more people.

Ah diff scene but kinda remind me of the thought, a guy once told my friend (well, maybe he got guts to be the one to tell me that out of everyone around me) that he's afraid to pursue meee coz I was "like too high and hard to reach" . That was his words, I know I might look like that back then because of the background but sure I never did a single thing to make them feel like that, coz I always always love connections and I can really give up being top of the class and so... just to be friends w everyone. Didn't realize it sooner, but I brought its impact w me until last yr. Now, I believe if they can't stand me, it's not my business anymore and I won't adjust again just to make them feel comfortable. Which never ever happens. It's just a trope for movies and tv shows. First, a girl that pretty is likely to have a boyfriend. Second, if it's known she does not, guys will ask. The only way guys wouldn't ask, is if she was dating a guy known to be very tough, and more than willing to fight. A guy who other guys are afraid of. Even if they just recently broke up, most guys might be worried the other guy will get mad. It might also depend on whether the guy broke up with her, or she broke up with him. If he did the breaking up, and has a new girlfriend, they might decide it's safe to ask her out.

Took me until I was 17 to realize I was actually pretty. Then not even a month after graduation, ppl were comin out the woodwork tellin me how they had a crush on me, how their friends had a crush on me, shit sometimes even talkin about how ppl they barely even spoke to had crushes on me. I literally went through all of middle & high school anxious & insecure cause I thought I was weird, whole time ppl were just too nervous themselves to talk to me

When I was in high school my best friend couldn't get a date until she stopped waiting for someone to approach her. She was gorgeous and had the personality of an absolute saint, but was very shy. Many of my guy friends wanted to ask her out, but thought she was out of their league. It did a number on her self esteem for a while, believing she was ugly and unloved, until she built that confidence to make the first moves.

The reason why beautiful people struggling with relationship is that so many people are arround them and it's hard to chose and even belive who is true there for them and not just for their look. Having multiple friends being handsome, but because of so many girls arround them, they just try to dodge women as much as possible.

Screw this. It's 100 percent easier to find a realationship as an attractive person. When your ugly, its almost impossible. It's sad. You can be friendly, bubbly, kind and funny. You can be multi faceted and still be single as an ugly person. Any of those traits that I just listed would make an attractive person even MORE desirable. Hell theres so many examples. An ugly person sits alone, and their labled as a "weird loner". And ATTRACTIVE person sits alone at lunch or in a public setting, and they're just "Shy and introverted" and "mysteryous". An ugly person is smart and they're labled as a nerd. An attractive person is smart and they're labled as gifted. Thats why i think its so bullshit. As an ugly person, it's so hard to find people who are there for you. Because People ALWAYS judge you based on your appearence. It litteraly took me half of my life to find a small group of friends. And Tbh i'll probably never find love or a relationship. I am totally convinced that being attractive makes finding a realtionship 100 times easier.
