WOW! What a great race weekend! It was so good to be back racing at the Serpent Trail 50k after a long period away because of a few injuries and illness. I wasn't sure how it was going to pan out as it has been a long time since I've pushed the pace, especially over longer distance.
The weekend and the race couldn't have gone better! We really feel we captured the awesome atmosphere at the Serpent Trail. If you haven't taken part in this race before it's definitely worth checking it out! Click the links below for more information:

love this! You got my very tired legs at 14.16!! So good to see you filming us slow runners too this has made my day. It was a fantastic race my first 50k and I'll be back next year for sure.

First 50k ultra for me and I think I picked one of the best. Great race and really enjoyed it, even if it was a bit on the warm side. Well done with the second place, that was well earned.

Well done on the 2nd place, it was a tough day to be running with the heat. Your early start did make me laugh though. I did the 100K, would have loved the lie in you got 😂 Great video. It was just getting dark when I finished so it was nice to see some familiar faces and part of the race I didn't see on the day.

I was about 10 mins behind but it's a very different race now its part of the Golden trail series. I wouldn't get anywhere near the podium now, the winning times are almost sub 3hrs! 😲 It's a great race Dave, I'm sure you'd enjoy it and thanks for watching 🙏

Hi Robin It's the perfect first 50k, I couldn't recommend it enough! 😊 It's a lovely rolling route, lots of runners use it as there first 50k. It's really well organised and there's a really friendly atmosphere at the event 😊 I would get signed up 👍 Hope this helps and thanks for watching the channel 🙏
