So, SERVICE LOCKER SYSTEM light has been on for a bit, they work sometimes, sometimes they don't. Not hearing any noises from the lockers or while driving, which leads me to believe its an electrical issue.
One thing I love about E-lockers, very simple design. A positive and a negative.... These two things is all that is needed to make it work. Power up the magnet and it should lock.
I no longer am restricted to what FCA says is acceptable to engage my lockers. Thou it is a safety feature and intended to prevent people from breaking their Jeeps, this change not only puts my switches to the lockers in a much more convenient spot, but allows me to lock the front independently from the rear. Granted there are not a lot of times where that is needed, but there are times you only want/ need the front locked. Another thing I have noticed since doing this, the lockers engage MUCH sooner.
DOING THIS WILL BYPASS SAFETY FEATURES IN YOUR JEEP SO BE SURE THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT.
