Scottish NS Rail Fan yes that tutorial really helped me. My Britannia wasn’t working that well and it was only pulling 2 coaches and know it pulls triple. Thanks sam

Hi, thanks so much for subscribing - I really hope you enjoy my channel! I'm sorry to hear about your dad, but it's good news that you're keeping his hobby going! Yeah, the Britannia bodies are particularly susceptible for damage! Unfortunately, it's just not possible to get these spares new any more, so your best bet is to look second hand - I'd recommend Ebay - I know tri-ang isn't as plentiful in and around the states as it is in the UK, but you might get lucky! It's quite difficult - you'll need a gear puller to remove the worm, and then remove the magnet at the back to slide out the armature - nasty job! Thanks for watching, Sam :)

@@SamsTrains there is one locomotive which I am currently using, the Hornby 2800 class which has the newer smoke box and my goodness I had to stop using it every ten minutes because the whole room was full of steam! My dad serviced my 08 I was watching him do service the 08 I think he did to much on it when I tested it the second I put it on it set on flames but yes my dad did put on to much
