on the "you can thank me later" comment Reddit made, no, that wouldn't work, cause sooner or later the dude was gonna end up talking about his hobbies again and the disconnect would have happened again, it was doomed from the start and the dude deserves better than having to cut all ties to his hobbies that he's evidently very passionate about

Story 17: it was shitty of him to involve y'all but I mean... You don't know the background. For all you know wife has a bunch of kids she said were his and none are and she is actively cheating on him every weekend. From the stories I've seen, if a spouse makes a divorce that public, normally it's to embarrass the spouse who has embarrassed them by cheating on them.
