The writers were getting tired of the premise, and also experts determined it wasn’t a good example to have parents dismissing Bird’s stories…because if a child needed to tell a grownup about something that happened, they would want them to believe him/her.

Me to because l hated when everyone doesn't believe big bird that snuffy the suffleuphagus is not real but he it is real and we fans of seame street believe big bird not like the people from seame street who doesn't believe him.

Yes, this really happened on TV once, grandkids. Once upon a time, some children's tv shows had some rather grown-up subject matter in them. Yes! TV execs and producers really had the guts to do that once! I swear I'm not making it up.

In late 1995 (which was the days when Sesame Street's structure was a main story interrupted by various short clips), I had a dream in which there was an episode in which an orange monster has been locked in a cage, and when the show went back to the main story, the monster was pleading to be let out. There were at least two main scenes where the monster was pleading to be let out. The backdrop for these street scenes was reminiscent of the interior of Stromboli's trailer in Disney's Pinocchio. By late 1995, would Sesame Street have done an episode like that?

Forgot to add,.,. Bob never told Big Bird "('m sorry..." That made me so MAD... I am glad that Snuffy was found out "when that happened.. I would be like... " You owe Big Bird an apology....You know for the time he told you snuffy had his furnishings..... I think I will go to bed.... Post all of Bob;s stories...

I thought this would be interesting to watch. I was wondering what happened to his things. BUT, this is another one I will avoid. I HATED the story-line of no one believing Big Bird about Mr. Snuffleupagus!
