I don't know how many books on marketing I've read over the years..more than I can count, and if someone were to ask me which book on marketing to read, I would have probably wanted to dig a little deeper to see what aspects they want to get into or develop. Not anymore...straight simple answer: 'Read Seth Godin's 'This is Marketing'.'

My goodness!! I'm currently studying Fundamentals of Marketing and Sales in pursuit of my degree, so I did a KZfaq search to assist with better understanding and analyzing Nike's brand. Wow, I listened to this video 10 times because it's so awesome!

Don't worry about your slogan, spokesperson, the wrapping. It's the substance, work that matters to people who care. It's like focusing on your true fans even if you only have a few serve them to the best of your ability.

If any of you are trying to build something, and frustrated that you haven’t had the results you hoped... I strongly suggest reading Shoe Dog. It’s not your normal boring memoir. Phil Knight takes you through the first 19 years of Nike. It’s a book that should be taught in business schools for generations‼️

I work at one nike store here in Portugal "Lisbon"... Shoe dog was the best book i ever read in my life about business. I read everything about Steve jobs, Richard Branson, I hear and watch every story about Larry Ellison. I read book about Robert Greene and folks guess what... Phill is the GUY!!! I study marketing and now im working on my english projetc here... Seth Godin is another one of my Heroes. Three best book: Shoe Dog Phill knight Robert Greene- Mastery And Wayne dyer - your wrong zones Ans im preparing to buy this is marketing... Life is a journey... 🏃🏿‍♂️🏃🏿‍♂️🏃🏿‍♂️🏃🏿‍♂️💯🙌🏿🏀

Totally cheap stunt. As Seth says, it reflected in stock price. Short term gain, long term loss. So many brands these days operate on a short term basis. Let’s not forget the Nike ad of the overweight kid? Where is the kid now? Nike has a history of ads that get attention which is great news for marketing people, but is there no care for long term effects on society?

Nike had an upward trend in stock from 2018-2022, as well as increasing revenue nearly every year after this brand strategy was launched. So I would say it was successful. Their stock had a recent downturn this year, but so did everyone else, due to external factors.

Phil Knight probably gives effs...so do the players and other athletes around the world who have modest-to-multi-million dollar contracts that allow them to do what they love.
