And to measure how full of it they are, anyone can go on Hulu and watch any episode from seasons 35 through 39 and see them make fun of Obama (especially Seth on weekend update) on any given episode. (I haven't seen the seasons from his early 1st term, so starting toward the end of the 1st, running against Romney) They joked about him.. Being weak on Russia and letting Merkel do all the standing up to Putin. Obama Care' s disastrous roll out and website problems. Getting overly cocky for killing Bin Laden. Secretly smoking. Letting Republicans walk all over him and having Stockholm Syndrome after the govt shutdown, acting like he was a Republican. etc, etc, etc.. I'm sure I'll remember more later. They only stopped at the end when tRump started running, and they made a lot of fun of Hillary (and Bernie with Larry David)* and even had tRump host that season despite protests outside. (Worst host and worst show ever). So, did SNL really change, or did people get super culty and tribal since Trump? (Yes the cast has been stronger) Btw...tRump? You think they're going to not constantly make fun of that walking sight and sound gag of an human air horn? They've made fun of every President since Episode 1 with Gerald Ford and still going at Nixon. So spare everyone the "member when this was funny, and not just liberals crying? " Cuz it's BS and tRump is laughable... at best.

Oh, I think the performing part is mostly a huge rush. I was really talking about what I've read about the week leading up to the show we see on tv. It's CRAZY -- the endless hours, the intense competition to get your sketch picked, the last minute cuts that Lorne Michaels makes after the dress rehearsal. I mean, it's a dream come true for most of the actors/writers. But a lot of it is also incredibly stressful.
