indemandcareer... - This week I interviewed David, who was working a soul sucking sales job for ADT when he found my course a few years ago. Though David was in his late 30s, he followed all the instructions in the course and got an entry level job, and only two years later (at age 40) is now a Senior Manager making $80K/Yr remotely!
David's story should inspire anyone who is stuck in a dead end job to see it's absolutely possible transition into the lucrative and satisfying field of digital marketing regardless of your previous experiene or age. A lot of subscribers ask me if this field is only for 20 year olds - it is not. It's for anyone who has the skills and the enthusiasm to get the job done. I started my own digital marketing career at age 32 - David started his around age 38 - some people start when they are 18, some at 20, and I even had a Boomer get hired last month!
(I also found out another student of mine who is around David's age was recently hired by his agency as well!)
Age isn't the issue - it's your attitude and aptitude. But David does have a lot of experience to draw from, and he shares some great nuggets about networking, communication, and advancing on the job!

Remember everyone: digital marketing careers remains the most in demand career nobody knows about. Even though there are over 260,000 open Digital Marketing jobs in the US, the mainstream does not have any idea what they are or how to get them. There's never been a better time to get these in demand skills. (Colleges still consider Digital an "elective"!!!)
