The course is pretty legit, I myself haven’t gotten into it the way I thought I would because of real life issues, but Im in the fb group and everyday I see a lot of posts from students being successful by getting their first entry level jobs. I made myself a promise lower my hours at my job and to get into this course this year and hopefully getting trained up well with my first entry level job.

Appreciate it. I understand why people are skeptical about online courses, some of them are just cash grabs. I was kind of shocked myself a few times when I purchased some courses and found they were clearly not fleshed out or nourished. No course is perfect, even mine, but you will definitely see the effort/wealth of material and support and attention. We are updating several things right now over the next few weeks too. It will definitely get you where you need to go if you apply what is taught and are patient and persistent and reach out for help after following the instructions if you need it.

Skepticism and critical thought is great, just try not to be cynical. Just remember you do have to apply what is taught and be consistent with it to get the results. We look forward to having you in the course.

If you are eligible to legally work in Canada then you can get a job in Canada, sure.

I don't know your specific personality type so can't make a personal recommendation, but Software Engineering is much more technical than Digital Marketing. Digital Marketing is also technical but also analytical and creative and psychological - we've had people from all different backgrounds, from retail to teachers, learn and excel in Digital. I don't know if I can say the same is common with Software Engineering. If you want flexibility you have to freelance and you can do that with either skillset.

Yes we are always updating info and Ivy does SEO coaching calls and Nick does PPC calls 4 times a month. But generally speaking understand this course is about the fundamentals to get the job - most agencies will teach you things in much more detail once you are hired.

I understand your question , but you don't have to worry. First off, you experssed two different concerns: 1. If the field is future proof and 2. Entry level jobs being eliminated. If you want to start your career now, then the existence of entry level jobs in the future isn't really an issue. That said, these entry level jobs will not be affected by AI. Most people don't understand what the jobs in SEO and PPC actually involve and therefore make a lot of incorrect assumptions. AI is already a thing, and the number of jobs is still very high. AI is very good at writing mass content, but Google's latest algorithm update just penalized spammy AI/low quality content. Now this shifts the industry back to understanding that even if AI is used to assist in content creation humans must be involved for quality control. Second when it comes to PPC there's no issue as 90% of the jobs involve managing Google Ads, which is inside Google's ecosystem. Because Google has a profit motive all of their AI features actually make it harder for people to manage their accounts and favor google, which in fact makes it more necessary for companies to hire people to manage their accounts. These are primarily full time jobs so it would be difficult to work 2 full time jobs. However many of my students get freelance clients on top of their day jobs.
