I thought about that too, but Pegasus said most of my high temp driving is at speed, so the fan would reduce efficiency at higher speeds.

I had to basically do the same thing after I burnt up 4 steering pumps at the track. Keep uploading more ideas! I love it! What track are you at?

New York safety track. Yea I’m on my third rack, and it’s a turn one so I’d like to save it haha

You desperately need a racing seat. Corbeau has a good fixed one for less than $400. Nice video!

Yea, that’s on the list this year!, I may get a fixed back one instead of that corbeau. Not sure yet.

Great work. Do you have any issues with the 315s scrubbing the inner fender liner. When I bought my tires the specialist told me that any width greater than 245 (18 inch x 9.5 inch wheel) would scrub.

I used to run 275/35/18 with my 18x9.5 in front no problem lol. The 315 are fine on the 19x10.5, but rub at full lock.

Thanks for creating this video. I had the same problem with overheating on my 99 FRC. It would just boil over out of the PS resivoir. I just replaced the pump but left the stock cooler in. Would it be helpful or would it create problems to just add the Setrab cooler as an additional cooler in addition to the stock cooler?

@@LowBoostFilms I have almost the same setup on my FRC - 315's squared, same sway bar, + bilsteins, but apparently not as good a driver as you, I don't think I've gotten the tires off the ground yet but I'm working on it at Road Atlanta this Friday. I'm testing the new pump and planning on checking the PS fluid temp with a pyrometer since I haven't added the temp gauge. Changing topics, have you found a way to get the front brake cooling duct back to the calipers with the 315's?

@@markwest416 hey we all have different experience levels. I can only imagine what the temps were before the Setrab, but it never gets over 135 on track now. I don’t have any special brake cooling ducts just the stock ones. I do have c6 z51 rotors from KNS and brackets though which have held up great.
