How to impress Ed - use either cable sleeves, zip ties, cable raceways, signum rack, or all of the above. 2. Have a theme and stick with it. Be unique but not crazy and weird. 3. GET A HEADPHONE HANGER. Headphones on desk= Nono. 4. If your pc has a tempered glass panel, don’t stick it under your desk, display it up top. Cable manage your pc- always a plus for looks and performance. 5. Have some sort of wall art or shelf to add personality. 6. MATCH YOUR RGB, if you have it, don’t have mismatching lights. Lastly... Spend $20000 and refinance your life to afford a setup that looks nice 😭 - this last part is a joke, a cheap setup can always look as nice as an expensive one. Edit: I’m dumb, here are some good additions from comments, 7. Drill hole for keyboard and mouse (I forgot this one cuz I have wireless mouse and keyboard lol) 8. Keep clutter free desk/ don’t crowd your desk. Having a messy desk is basically a TechSource sin. Also thanks for the likes. I plan on making a setupwars submission after Christmas when I remodel my setup.

Holy shit, I remember back in like 6th grade I was obsessed with your channel. Setup wars was my favorite and everyday coming back from school I’d do something to improve my setup so hopefully I would be confident enough to send it in and make it on a video. Im now a sophomore in high school and I have my dream setup, but I gamed too much and now I look at my setup in disgust. Funny how things change right? Edit: I also remember when you hit 1 mill and bought a Lamborghini and months after you were robbed. This was my favorite channel back years ago, I came back and nothing changed except for quality and that’s a perfect thing. Glad to see you’re still doing good, you helped me a ton back in the days. I can’t believe this series is still going, I’ll definitely be sticking around.

It should be a a budget edition for 1500$ and a low budget ediition for people like me who is poor and really young and cant job (bcz of legal reasons,i am to young) so we just get money every homiday/birthday party and we also want other things as well... please change back! I think a 2000$ setup doesnt count as ”budget” not even midrange! (I have a Xbox One to game so midrange is basicly the setups in the video)

Hey guys, question here. I have the MSI MPG x570 Gaming Pro Carbon and am planning on pairing it with the 3800x. I’ve just recently heard that the VRM temps can be out of control, though I’ve only seen this with the 3900x OC which already has an output of over 200 watts non OC. Will my vrm temps be fine with a non-overclocked (since I won’t need to overclock) 3800x? I will be using the Corsair 275r airflow with three intakes and two outtakes.

The redragon k552 is a great budget mechanical keyboard to start with, I got cheap PBT caps and replaced the stock ABS ones with that edgy gamer font, it sounds and feels better to type on now compared to the ABS ones

Y’all setting the limit of a gaming set up to 2000 my computer is 700 and monitor less than 200 got mouse and keyboard for about 25 mic arm and pop filter for 80 and headset for 40 that was a period of roughly 3 years to get it all 1045 I want to see someone using something cheaper

I got a used pc for an extremely low price from a friends relative (some intel xeon cpu, gtx 1060 3gb, 8 gb of ram, 500 gb hdd, 120 gb ssd) for 240 €, i got him to give me his old peripherals (mouse, keyboard, mousepad, headset) that were all really cheap. Then for like 5 months i was playing games on an old tv as my monitor, before i got an awesome deal for a used monitor (1080p, 165 hz, 24 in, freesync). I got that for 150 €. Then i repurpoused an old table and office chair and made a nice, minimalistic setup. Half a year later i found an old 768p, 17in monitor in my house, had to buy an adapter for it for 10 €, but thats how i got a second monitor. Of course there were some other expenses, like buying wireless wi-fi and bluetooth adapters for 10 € each, becouse the pc didnt have that, and later i bought a 20 m long ethernet cable to connect my pc to a router for faster internet, couse the router coudnt be moved closer. All around im pretty happy with the oitcome tho

You could get Markus' one. It runs fortnite 144fps and triple A games at 60 fps (1080) I'm buying those parts and building it in a future :) (mid class pc)

A lot of people I know who play CS from EMEA have a serious tilt on their keyboards and use unusual setups. Some in NA do it too but it not as common.

From one side, Intel's cpus are just overpriced and from the other side, amd's rx580 offers so much for the price. And also everyone buys the sapphire version mainly because it's silent and the cooling is just amazing!

I've drilled through the desk before to route cables, it looks good but when you want to move your keyboard to work, or maybe build a PC, it is so impractical. Also makes the desk kind of non usable as it has a gaping hole in the middle... There's always a better way!

honestly not happy about the whole "budget" of $1000 and above thing. Not everyone has that kind of money for a PC and budget edition is always considered at least around $500+. Most PC's in the budget edition videos could honestly fit so well in just the normal set up war videos.

You people really don't understand what the word budget means here, do you? Budget setup is when someone only has a certain amount of money to build a setup. It doesn't mean that all the setups in a "budget edition" have to be like $600 or something, it can be setup wars budget edition but the budget is $20.000. It's still a budget setup wars video. If I would've give you $5.000 to build a setup. You'd still be building your setup on a budget. That budget would be $5.000
