Actually, a gunshot will overpower most consumer-level microphones, like those in cameras and phones. Sometimes the sound even cuts out completely. The real issue with that gunshot is that it has WAY too much echo. It is the sound of an outdoor shot coming from an indoor kitchen. A real gunshot just goes "pop" not "Psheeeeeewwwwwwwwhhhhhh"

This reminds me of how Meatsleep quit because too many people thought she was real. Let's just remember, ARG's are for fun, and if you're going to patronize the creator because it's "too real" you should think a bit more about the ARG.

I wanted to bring up just two things after the fact for your consideration in regards to this video: 1 - While reviewing the portion concerning George's self-fulfilling prophecy of becoming the character of a story he wrote, I realized that the conversation tweets show what may be a sort of reverse; you can actually interpret it as George becoming the victim of a story written by the personality in his head, effectively making him entirely the 'victim' in the situation, with no control over the actions of the secondary personality speaking on Twitter. We'll have to see how this plays out. 2 - This is not an occasion to spoil anything about Breaking Bad. Please, don't be that person who decides to ruin future enjoyment for people and also get permanently banned from my comments section for being incredibly stupid.

Not sure if it relates, but the numbers seventy and seven bring to mind one of Jesus' teachings on how many times we should forgive another person. One of the disciples asked "How many times should I forgive my brother? Seven times?" and Jesus replied "Not seven, but seventy times seven." (paraphrasing a bit) So, maybe that's symbolic of wanting forgiveness? Again, I could be off, but it's a thought.

I don't know if anyone else in the comments will have pointed this out, but there's something else odd about the "murder". And that is the use of a gun. Private firearm ownership is much, much more tightly restricted in the United Kingdom then it is in America, to the point that almost nobody that isn't a hunter or farmer will own one- at least, legally speaking. It's not impossible ARG!George or his family would own a firearm, but it isn't very likely, and it's even less so given that in the fiction within the fiction, ARG!George is already a little bit disturbed, mentally speaking. If the murder was "real" and did actually "happen", ARG!George would more likely have used a knife or blunt force object (in fact, knife crime or use of knives in murders or assaults is a major problem in the UK, and has been for years- particularly among teens and young adults). And if ARG!George stole the gun or obtained it through gang affiliation or other illegal means, there's a chance he'd already be in legal trouble (or, presumably, would at least be more careful about his posting habits on both KZfaq and Twitter). Admittedly it's not quite "smoking gun", pardon the pun, because it's based more on assumption then hard evidence. But, speaking as a Brit who lives in the UK, the use of a gun for the "murder" immediately stuck out to me as an indicator of it being falsified within the narrative. (that and the acting of his victims pre-gunshot is a bit ropey and relaxed for people being held at gunpoint by someone screaming "DON'T FUCKING LIE TO ME" at them, but that could just be me)

Something I noticed in the first video was a prominent 'EDEN' in graffiti behind him. Could 'Seven broad' have been the Eden, the perfect ARG for George and when he was in control of his mind, and when he entered into 'Seventybroad' could he have pushed himself from sanity and from his 'Eden' which was the perfect ARG that he was trying to reach, or where he was when he murdered his family? Sorry, I'm not as good as you are when it comes to this.

Hey, I've been binge-watching your videos like crazy, and I want to suggest you look at this dude named Anndy Negative. Creepy shit.

I'd like to think that I'm a smart man, but I'm not gunna lie, Nick, I got left behind hard when you started talking about Meta-Physicality and the multiple Georges. So lemme get this straight: If Our George, Real Life George, is "George" and his fictional character is George', and HIS fictional character is George'', George made this story, where George' makes a story based on breaking bad, in which George'' kills his family and goes on the run, but the George' has a mental breakdown which causes him to believe he actually IS George'', and believes he actually killed his family? And that would mean George' is the one hearing all the skitso voices in his head? and if he does think he's actually George'', does he believe that the voices are George', and that he feels trapped within himself while George' completes his story? Sorry If that seemed like a lot of questions but I'm genuinely curious and want to make sure I've got the facts straight, it's a very neat series so far!

The funny thing is is that the gunshot was at a higher sample rate (and in stereo, possibly even surround-sound) than the camera-captured audio. It was so painfully obvious to me. Idk. Just hear me out when I say it would've been an easy fix if all the audio was bumped down to a sample rate where all sounds were from the same source (not too low ofc), made mono, and maybe passed through an audio clipper (if necessary).

At this point if twitter is involved, i expect this to be an ARG. So many of them are using twitter as a content platform alongside youtube that its not surprising anymore. Branch out. Use vimeo and myspace or smth. quit making accounts on twitter that just become abandoned.

It's hard to make someone question is something fake or not, but if you make it feel real, people will watch it, wanting to know the truth, and they would end up either disapointed/reliefed that it's not real, or amazed by the illusion (ooor getting in trouble whit the police). you didn't really address this, but the song mr blue sky by electric light orchestra plays some significant role in the story that's not entirely clear yet. we first hear it in "cosmos" when I think Rachel is filming in the car when George and their friends are going to a bar. it's described as a Christmas song, and someone in the car didn't like it for that reason. the next time you hear it is in a short 6sec video on the Twitter, also filmed in what seems like the same car but in daylight. it's unknown why George would have access to his car in seventybroad so idk if it's actually his car or not. finally, also on Twitter, he partially quoted the lyrics "sun is" on 10/31, and "hey there mr. blue" today (11/7). the overall message of a few verses very clearly outlines the general plot of the story so far, talking about hiding away. I hope this helped, and that you take this into consideration if you plan to do a future video once the game has slowed down or stopped 👍

Such an awesome idea for a ARG. Good job Nick!! But like you said, evidence could come out in the coming weeks that changes this idea,

The gunshot would have distorted the audio by quite a bit, since most microphones cannot deal with such a loud volume, plus the gunshot has way too much reverb considering it supposedly happened indoors close to the camera. Plus the gunshot has a way to long tail, as well as the sound itself has way more stereo seperation compared to how the mic of the camera picked up the stereo information of the people talking. Honestly, the reverb of the gunshot gives it away by quite a bit. The original sound was clearly recorded somewhere out in the open, with the microphone placed a bit way from the actual gun itself, hence the mic not clipping, even though a gunshot is really fucking loud, plus the long reverb + gunshot tail. Another inconsistency is how he even got a gun. There's a reason why in the UK knife-crimes are at an all time high. Getting a gun in the UK isn't exactly as easy as it is in the US. But that's of course more or less a smaller plot hole that can easily be explained if the creator chooses to do so. Sorry, I'm just really bored right now and when I heard the supposed gunshot I felt the need to write this down here. I'm a musician, and since I do everything myself, from instrumental creation to mixing and mastering, I hear all these small wrong details like it's screaming directly at me. Also, I know it's just an ARG. But like I said, I'm just really bored right now, so I decided to share all these things I concluded.
