This blatantly creepy kids programming channel gives us a good setup for a story... but is it interested in committing to excellent vlogfiction, or just making a clickfarm? The verdict is still in debate for our first subject in our Night Mind series, Case Files.

No concept right now is funnier to me than "Batman finger family." It just starts off with that "Mommy finger, mommy finger, where are you?" and then the rest of the video of just...silence. As you get further in you just start to hear sobbing in the background.

Looking back on this, I wish there were more channels like it. Taking the formulaic form that kids channels usually strive for and then slowly revealing something more sinister underneath than it initially appeared to be, before it becomes an unsettling horror series.

Tbh I actually think that this channel was meant to be a comedic pisstake of these "kid-friendly" Elsagate channels that a) seemed as if they were made by robots and b) never got noticed/moderated by KZfaq's own AI, which is why there is a lot of AI symbolism in this. Unfortunately it seemed to be way ahead of its time, though. The whole Elsagate scandal as well as the Baby Shark/Johnny Johnny yes papa memes didn't happen until very recently, and only then did KZfaq start paying attention to these channels. That's also imo why this channel was never taken for what it really was (a dark comedy channel) and got taken down after this video got popular.

hennochoi I don’t think they did, it was rated V for violence and L for strong language, so they would not show up on kids KZfaq. Though of course that doesn’t stop children from accessing it through regular KZfaq. But the same could be said for any of the inappropriate videos on KZfaq.

I remember finding this channel a loong time ago, back in the earlier years. There were some videos that made us (about 12 or 13 years old i think) freak out really bad that weren't covered in this video and I've never been able to find them again. One of them was a video of a young indian looking girl in a gray-walled normal room. She stood there reading the alphabet and counting then just listing off random letters/numbers. The video that freaked young me out more was one in the same style as the h*tler and darth maul ones, but it was ronald mcdonald. it caused me a real bad panic attack that didnt die down for at least 2 or so hours if i remember correctly. Was really hoping you were gonna mention either of those in this video so I would've gotten some more info on why it was so terrifying. Never heard about any of those AI things, though. Edit: I must've missed it in my first watch, but the indian girl I mentioned was definitely the same one seen at 16:25, Most likely uploaded around the same time.

My husband always asks my why I dont let my 3 year old on youtube without ME and only me picking his videos. This. Because I know there is crap like this out here. And my 3 year old wont understand. He just sees the kid stuff and clicks. Thank you, I shared this to my hubby and he didnt even know what ARGS, unfiction etc were until I turned him to this channel. Too many parents dont supervise what our kids are watching. If I would walk in on my son watching a video with Hitler....I'd shit a brick.

Holy cannoli, I just remembered that Jack and Jill dude. Reminds me of when my younger sister watched crappy videos and I constantly had to fight to change it. The main mentality my parents had was that her crying must be immediately stopped or be prevented by giving her what she wants or something just as good. So glad that period of time is over, we kept boxes of cookies on the shelves to get her to behave! Had to watch her all day long and while it was crappy, I've learned and grown from the experience. Certainly, other parents have that same negative mentality. (Not sure if cps is spying on me, but hi there.)

Researched Hey Kids on a lark awhile ago. Apparently it was the work of an Indian (I think he was Indian, anyway) troll who's semi-well known in his home country. Seems to do a lot of weird stunts like this, but this was his most elaborate. Can't find anything he's done since Hey Kids though.

This honestly really terrified me as a parent to a small child when I first saw this, and it still does in some ways. But on the other hand its kinda genius too. If it was an ARG with the point of the channel critizing the YT Kids program and also to teach parents to manage what their kids watch and not just leave them alone in front of a screen.
