Pro tip for fabric store owners: Keep a dog in the store to distract from the prices. We have seen this work for years at Mood Fabrics, and this fabric store shows how successful this trick is.

My tip for EVERYONE attempting a project with Vinyl. ** use krazy glue or leather glue in small amounts ** Overlap your seam allowances, faux flatten seam allowances, also iron over the allowances with a thick towel as a protective layer. This fabric is a beauty to work with when you don’t give into the immediate reaction to pass it through a machine. You can always go back in with an awl and heavy duty thread/needle to reinforce or visually imply sewing. Best of luck to everyone on your projects. Time and patience will always favor our patience and time. Congrats Wendy on your amazing projects

I've seen your heavy weight sewing and tailoring and still get impressed on that ability of translating flat to body covering. Your engineering is MAD STRONG, Wendy! Wendy, I literally cried at that ending. My toddler was playing with playdoh and stopped in her tracks when the music cut in, watched the whole thing, and then clapped at the end. The way you look at the garments so closely and figure it out how it works and than the manipulation skills from 'simple' designs to get to these magnificent designs is amazing! You did such an amazing job on all of them. I especially like the sweater thingy mainly since it seems that is something you might be able to wear more often and the color of the wool is very nice and looks amazing on you! Good luck with the last part of your pregnancy and wish you all the best when the baby comes and the time after that.

This is my first time encountering one of your videos, and I immediately subscribed! Thank you for not screaming. I appreciate that you have a mellow voice, and the audio level is simply loud enough to be heard clearly. I have the hearing of a bat, and so many KZfaqrs fail to notice their voices bouncing off all the hard surfaces, sounding all spiky and loud. It’s painful and people never seem to realize they don’t need to scream. End of rant.😊 You are so capable, passionate, and have the daring to try these interesting challenges. I laughed out loud at how modest and worried yousounded when really, you basically said, “hey, let me see if I can knock off three haute couture red carpet outfits!“

Great job. As designer, stylist whatever tour role in fashion the number one rule is be able accommodate, and make adjustments so that the garment or piece fits and showcases the clients body/type correctly. That the only way your work can be showcased at it Best is when it fits and works with the wearer. You pulling these patterns together and making adjustments to make them seem cohesive is well excuted and the end results show it.
