I think Carlisle is the best in the pdm line, it’s sweet and warm with a touch of vanilla😍

Copped a full Haltane bottle after sampling alot of pdm and I am in love. It smells like the prince of the woods / forest.

You are missing Pegasus Exclusif. For my taste, it's like Pegasus but better in every aspect. Also, weirldly enough, I got way more compliments with Pegasus Exclusif than Carlisle, Layton, Sedley or Greenley.

Layton, Sedley, and Kalan for me but overall a powerhouse.

Always Percival, 10/10. All those Herods, Haltanes, Oajans etc. get mixed or even mostly negative reactions in the (non-frag community) crowd… Percival delivers every single time. Is it unique? No. Does everyone love it? Can I wear it just anytime? Does it last the full 8 hours? Yes.

I’m shock that Herod won cause most women that smelled that on me didn’t like the incense part of it, Carlisle Layton and Percival gotta be the best

Most attractive? For cold weather, I'm gonna give it to Carlisle as much as I love Haltane. I love that opening and it smells so lovely in the air. Warmer times of the year is Sedley. That's a classy, blue, fresh fragrance.

I'd have to give it to Herod myself but Oajan and Kalan are close. What I find especially interesting in this is how Sandra defines sexy is so different as to what most guys think is sexy. I also find it disturbing yet hilarious that as a not straight guy I find myself agreeing with her! 😆

Pegasus is awesome, but a bit too sweet for my liking. I wonder how you will rank Pegasus Exclusif. (will try it soon) I absolutely don't understand these fresh scents, it all smell like harsh cheap soaps. Layton is a scrubber for me. 🤷‍♂ I Absolutely agree Herod and Oajan is the best of PDM, The lady has really great taste, so will try Godolfin & may be Haltain also soon.

I purchased Herod and I liked it, but the longevity was terrible on me. Usually when people complain about longevity and I purchase it I end up thinking “how do people complain about this??” But Herod let me down, I really wanted to love it. I purchased a little sample of Oajan and even though it did smell really nice, I didn’t see myself liking it enough to spend that amount of money for it. The first PMD I bought and kept was Carlisle and DANG I love it, it does remind me of Red Tobacco by Mancera but it’s a lot more elegant and classy. I’ve been doing research on both Layton and Layton Exclusif and everyone says Layton is better and more Mass appealing, but the uniqueness of Exclusif dragged me in more so I blind bought it and I just received it in the mail yesterday and I am wearing it to the office as I am typing this. OMG Exclusif is SO GOOD. I want to smell the regular now to see what it’s like, but I don’t see myself liking it more than I like this. I just don’t see how it can be better, Exclusif smells so good and it’s so unique. I don’t get all the bad things people say about it. I can’t say anything about the regular without trying it tho. Exclusif is perfect for work and so elegant and unique. A lot of people refer to it as some sort of acquired taste with a harsh opening. I love it from start to finish. This is my professional perfume, I may look into regular Layton for my casual! But I don’t know, a lot of people say it’s close to being designer and idk if I wanna pay that much if it is not complex enough.

Update after using Layton and Layton Exclusif some more! I wore both of them to a full day at the office, they both have amazing longevity! Both of them last all day with 3 sprays from 8 AM to 5 PM. Layton has a real nice opening, but that dry down is nothing impressive. It just smells like vanilla, which is nice but it’s nothing exciting. I returned it as I was not impressed with that dry down. Then there’s Layton Exclusif! The opening is amazing as well, but different from Layton. The real magic is on that dry down though! You can smell the same vanilla you smell on Layton, but it’s mixed with this spice and wood that tones down the vanilla and mixes it with something more complex and amazing! Layton is good, but it’s a vanilla bomb at the end. I put Exclusif on both sides of my neck and on the back of my neck this morning at 7:30AM It is now 6:42 PM in the afternoon and I can still smell it as I have long hair and still smell what I sprayed on the back of my neck. I have Pegasus Exclusif coming in the mail and Herod! I love Herod and did not own it long enough before getting rid of it, so I will give it another shot and see if the longevity gets better! Pegasus Exclusif was blind buy, so we shall see!!

Good video. My top 3 are pegasus exclusif, haltane and carlisle. Godolphin is good too but I prefer ombre leather. I haven’t tried Oajan so cannot comment on it. Herod smells like burnt hookah flavor to me, smells good but nothing amazing and performance sucks

Hey, im torn between Herod and Carlisle. I like Herod’s smell more, but i hear it has bad performance (experienced it aswell) while Carlisle lasts 24+hrs on me. Which 1 should i buy?

I need your help! Does it seem like all of Perfums De Marly fragrances have an underlying note that is similar across all of their scents? I have noticed that all of the Perfums De Marly fragrances have some note in almost all of them that is very off putting to me. I NEED to figure out what that note/ingredient is because I smell it in other fragrances as well. It is very sharp and almost piercing to my nose. Sort of stings when I smell it. I noticed it really heavy in Greenley especially in the deep dry down. I've noticed it in Galloway, Sedley, Percival and Layton as well, but it seemed the worst in Greenley.Thanks for your help!

I have recently purchased Carlisle as my first PDM not sure how I feel about the opening but the dry down is not bad I’m having a hard time figuring out a good amount to spray for it.

I have Carlisle and I love it! I am also waiting for Layton Exclusiff to arrive🔥 I have a question not related to PMD tho I have Mancera Cedrat Boise intense and There’s a bunch of sediment stuff in it and I know that may be normal with it being a parfum, but is it normal that it all settles down at the bottom of the fragrance? When I pick it up and turn it upside down it all lifts up and you can see a bunch of dust like swirls mix into the parfum.

Picked up layton from ebay seems to be good price. Turned out to be fake. Seller listed not accepting returns. Contacted ebay about receiving fake. They said give Seller least couple of days after filing dispute. Seller tried to offer me partial refund. I said I would report u to ebay for selling fake. He immediately issued full refund. Same thing happened on Amazon as well.

Which pdm is the best for summer? I really want one for summer but I really don’t know which one is the best for the summer

For me Layton old formulation is number one, Percival was smell really pleasant but performance wasn't good, Sedley are good but Greenley have better smell and performance. Kalan was a no for me, there was nothing i like about it. Layton Exclusive are good but i don't enjoy much as the OG. Percival was really good, that one was smell really attractive. Haltane i can't really tell, i feel it could be really good but wasn't work for me and i was disappointed with the performance.
