Seymour Hersh's name is well-known in the world of journalism.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist, who exposed the My Lai massacre and the Abu Ghraib torture scandal, has become a legendary figure for some.
In recent years, Hersh's reporting on Syria has been vigorously challenged in some unlikely quarters. When asked about accusations that he has become an apologist for Al-Assad, Hersh said: "Bashar understands that if he loses this war, he's going to be like Mussolini ... hanging from a lamp pole."
"I just don't think he's particularly any worse than what goes on any day in Saudi Arabia," said Hersh. "They're all sort of in that same ballpark. And I never saw him as any more of a monster. They were all in this group of people that will kill, kill, kill to survive," he said.
We speak with seasoned journalist and author of 'Reporter: A Memoir', Seymour Hersh, about the Syria war, Donald Trump, the media and alleged Russian interference in the 2016 US election.

I hate how so many of Hassan's interviews aren't actually looking to gain any new information. His talk time has got to be almost double Seymour's in this. Ask tough questions, but wait for answers.

After the great suffering of the Syrian people and the destruction of their nation, it is common sense that the vast majority of Syrian people would LOVE to go back to the way it was under Assad. And fight against Assad by political means. Gandhi proved this to be true.

He's clearly a Quatari Puppet - He has one of the best investigative journalists in the business infront of him, and he spends his time lecturing him as it doesnt fit his agenda. (And as events showed Hersh turned out to be right on every one of his claims - CW, OPCW Corruption, Trump corrupt as sin yet, but in bed with Russian no, Russia influence in comparison to Saudi, Israel or Quataris..? hahaha)

He said very little here, and never waited for answers to his questions. How can you say this??? Look at other comments and re watch, you didn't even see the same show we did. Back off, no he inserted himself looking to provide his already decided drill platform and not asking relevant questions for seeking answers, just looking to be contrary to Sy who is head and shoulders above most journalistsl. Others; hindsight Sy has uncovered facts and truth of already. Mehdi blather mouth, here.
