Seymour Johnson AFB, NC 3 Bedroom JNCO Housing Tour

Here’s a walkthrough of a 3 bedroom JNCO house on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. These style houses were built in 2003, while the 2 floor Duplex 3 bedroom houses were built later on. Originally the garages were open car ports, and have recently been converted to an enclosed garage, which I like, but they are much smaller than the duplex housing garages by a lot. That's allot nicer than the house I had as a Staff Sargent at 415 Westover Rd. back in 1988-92. They have since torn all the houses like I lived in back then. Looks like the newer ones are a major upgrade!

Cool! Sad thing is the house I lived in was one of the older styles on base, they have nice 2 level duplexes with huge garages also, which is what i really wanted but had to settle lol

I just watched your video and my family and I are PCSing there in a month. We were previously stationed there but we were in one of the two story houses on base last time. We were just offered one of these style ones. Just wondering how you like it and if it seems small or not. We are coming from Lakenheath so I'm sure anything will seem bigger than here but just wanted someone's opinion that is currently living in one of these.

I also came from Lakenheath before I got here, I was in one of the 4 bedroom houses in Lords Walk over there. But honestly the 3 bedroom houses here were more than enough for me, my wife and two kids, a crap ton of storage space, also the attic helped a lot with seasonal stuff we didn't use that often, and of course I used the hell out of the garage working on my cars and such. I'm about to separate in two weeks and I'll miss this house, mostly because my next house doesn't have a garage lol.

@@Z3CHYD Thanks for the response. We were just a little concerned after watching the video it just seemed a little small compared to our house we had when we were there last time. So it's nice to hear that it's fine and plenty big enough.
