Sizing info: I wear a EU38 and a FR39 and I wear a Sezane 38. I find that in all the cases I've tried, they run true to European sizing.

SIZING REFERENCE
For reference, I am 160cm or 5'3. I wear an AU 6, XS. EU 34 and US 0 (I take one size down in US sizing). I am more pear shaped and often need to size up one size for pants for it to fit well at the hip. For jeans I am usually a W25, though depending on style, I also often go up to a W26.
For Sezane sizing, I recommend to size down for most chunky knitwear. For lighter knitwear I often go true to size. If a shirt looks to fit closely, I often size up. I always wear true to size for blouses. I'm between a 34 and 36 for pants and usually size up to 36 in Sezane trousers. For skirts, I'm almost always true to size. For outerwear, I'm almost always true to size.

I bought a combo of some new to Sezane items and items they bring out year after year and so far I love them. One thing that buying from Sezane has taught me is that I am a fabric snob at heart and if I want to spend my money wisely, it has to be a natural fabric

My fav is the Tomboy shirt with the toast color high-rise trousers. What a great look! Another color that pairs well with light blue (say denim) is a deep wine or burgundy.

I love all the things that are well tailored on you . The pants that are a flimsy fabric such as the wide leg white and the shorter wide leg navy dont do you justice. You are a very beautiful girl with very classic features The rusty coloured wide leg pleated pants with the button trim and the Betty navy cardigan sweater are gorgeous on you !!! I subscribed . Tomboy doesn't have double pockets....so I'm confused. I bought the navy Betty cardigan because I liked your green one awhile back . Really glad I did. The fabric is beautiful. I get such FOMO when I look at the Sezane website.. their colourful knitwear are so gorgeous BUT I can’t yet justify spending that much on shipping 🚢 🛒 ☺️ so I just look for pretty similar dupes in local shops.

I love the look of Rouje pieces but I think the quality to me is far lower than Sezane. Some people have commented it's worse than Zara etc and I think in my experience, some pieces can be. Maybe when I can visit their store, I'll be able to feel/see everything in real life but for online shopping it's just a bit risky. If you like french brands, I love Sessun, Souer, Balzac Paris and find these much better than Rouje and at a similar price point.

Oh yes! That's from an Australian brand called A-esque based in Melbourne. They do very minimal designs but the quality feels very luxurious :)

Sezane needs to update designs and colors/prints. One thing is classic French style and another that looks like grandmother's clothes. The latest collections are being horrible.

Your videos are very much the same or almost copy of Jamie, another Australian you tuber I used to watch, I must say even your use of words, earthy 🙂 I don’t watch those channels anymore as they are so repetitive, seasonal capsule wardrobe on repeats, most worn on repeats, what I wore in a week, or even sezanne😊

I was really disappointed to see a pant made in an acetate/polyester blend during the online browse / review… It’s such an unsustainable, regressive textile decision! 🫤 Anyone looking for a trouser in this fabrication could easily find a pair at just about any vintage shop, and they would be paying A LOT less for it. 😐 I think the pieces you chose to keep are great and suit you so well! 😍 I also completely see your reasoning for the items you’re sending back! One thing I will say for the shoes is that I get a bad feeling about where the top of the toe-box seems to end on your foot (it ends slightly before the start of your outer toes)…I’ve had a couple pairs in the past with this issue, and they gave me blisters anytime I wore them because my smallest toes were barely contained and the shoes would cut into the top of my toes when I walked. 😣 So if you feel any of what I’m describing, I would definitely send them back, especially since you might not be able to wear any sort of sock with them (because you said they are slightly narrow). I really appreciated being walked through your thoughts on each item you purchased and others you had previously considered! 😊 Listening to your thought-process was a great reminder of characteristics we should pay close attention to when considering a new piece- such as comfort, texture, fit/sizing, quality, practicality, special details, (etc.) -and ways we might go about assessing / critiquing these kinds of characteristics to avoid feeling buyer’s remorse from keeping something we hardly end up wearing beyond the initial try-on. 👍👍 As always: great video, and thank you for sharing! 🤗❤️
