Maybe just open up the diffs and then glue the diffs back all together that’s what I did for my sg 1603 and it worked, maybe even fill up the diffs with hot glue or smt for me it worked

Does anyone know the pitch on the pinion gear? Stock pinion is shouldered and doesn’t fit on shaft of the new motor. I see one on Banggood but would prefer to buy from Amazon

Hello, would you advise me to upgrade my car UD1601 from normal 30 km to PRO 60 km, but I don't think it's 60 km already

Empty the diff and put as much sillicone ear plug in there as possible that should lock the diff

Ya that works great!! I did that to my wltoys 144001. On my world record sg1603 I glued the axle cups in to the differential. its quicker and easier and you get the same result just don't get glue on or in the bearing LoL

@@chrissimkin8823 a silicone ear plug still has some give so it puts less strain on the components.

@@picklemaster215 ya I only glue or spool my speed run cars for that reason. I do have silicone ear plugs in my 6s 100mph slash project. The silicone works Fantastic.

@@picklemaster215ya you could but it would be a little harder to put it back together because of the design of it and it has crappy plastic side gears with Fairy fine teeth so I'm not 100% sure if the silicone will bit in to it enough and keep it locked up

u was able to put the brushless motor in the stock esc, how did u get the three connectors to work on a two pin connector ?

No it was a hole brushless kit for the sg1603 motor, ESC and servo made for the sg1603

I just looked they are sold out of the full kit's and esc's

hi, I have a problem with the steering, it gets stuck and you can hear the servo motor continue to make noise, then I put the wheels straight back by hand, but often it doesn't turn at all and the servo motor makes a continuous sound, what will it be , the car is new and the steering never worked .. if I take it off the wheels it works. THANK YOU

Sounds like you need a new servo. frist take the steering horn off of the servo it see if the servo turns with no noise and make sure the wheels turn freely and check the steering rate on the controller. If everything looks good but the servo makes noise replace it. Amazon and banggood have them

But If you go to buy a servo make sure you get the right one. 5 wire or 3 wire the stock one on this truck are 5 wire servos.

Howsit bud, I was wondering if you wouldny mind giving me your opinion. I have the exact same car but the brushes version. My ESC gave up a couple of days into having the car. I was wondering if the brushless version ESC will work. I understand that the brushless is way faster then the brushed version. I don't know if

The brushless ESC will work if you put a brushless motor in too

Sorry you will need to change the servo too your better to put a brushed ESC back inn or put the hole brushless kit inn

nice info you got there i have same question do have any cogging issue ? if so, how do you fix it ? mine cogging alot with brushless upgrade

No I ever noticed a cogging problem with it . When I would punch the throttle it would just take off. I ever really try to drive real slow with it. I can't even test it out for you now. All 3 of the trucks have bigger motor and esc combos now

Useless upgrade! This motor is too powerfull! Stock motor is more stable. Brushless motor too fast! Do not waiste your money!

I 100% understand what you're saying it not for everyone. I now have 3 brushless sg1603 and if you get the right set up it's so much fun. I've put 15 batteries thought this truck in the last two days at the shop drifting away the hoist's it's epic fun and it's nice to have the extra power sometimes

@@rctuner832 what do you mean loosing control? Like just random full throttling? I know it has a crappy range on it (50'). my favorite sg1603 has a 35A ESC , 3800kv motor, all shock gears, 17g servo and a bumborc controller and receiver that set up is a blast to drive. Drifting around the shop and 70km/h speed runs all day long
